Book Description

November 3, 2006

And now for something completely different from Devlin O’Neill:

In a deadly and not too distant future, Sergeant Cameron has the best job he can imagine—chief disciplinarian at a women’s prison—and he is very good at his work. His Inmate Regulation Center resounds daily with the crack of the paddle, the wisp of the cane, and the heartfelt wails of unruly inmates as he sternly punishes bare bottoms. Even his fellow correctional officers—all female—are not exempt from the sting of leather or the heat of his palm on their squirming behinds when they misbehave—sometimes on purpose, hopeful of exactly that outcome and the steamy sex that follows.

Cameron paid heavily for his ideal employment, and he has the heroic credentials and the scars to prove it, but time is running out. The virus plague that fragmented the U.S. to small nation states rages still, as do the wars that started soon after. And decorated veteran that he is, Cameron must rejoin the fight. Although enemies surround his tiny republic, Cameron’s toughest foe comes from within.

Corporal Idaho is hot literary erotica from a master of craft with the gloves off.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!, February 6, 2007
This review is from: Corporal Idaho (Paperback)
"Corporal Idaho" is a fantastic read! Devlin O'Neill's "A Maid For All Seasons" series is a classic in the spanking genre, but I did not know what to expect from this new scenario. Mr. O'Neill put my doubts to rest from the very first page. "Corporal Idaho" is an exciting, erotic and entertaining book that will satisfy any spankophile or novice. I hope the author will continue both his "A Maid For All Seasons" series and expand further into this new "Corporal Idaho" direction.

4.0 out of 5 stars Futuristic erotica with humor, December 15, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Corporal Idaho (Paperback)
This is the first Delvin O'Neill book I've read. I will buy more. The futuristic setting does not dominate the plot. Cameron is a demoted military hero. His current assignment was a "gift" from the leader. Cameron enjoys the position as chief disciplinarian in a female prison. He has designed a stool that is used for serious offenders after they have been given 25 or more strokes with a belt, paddle or cane.

The tale is not all about his ability with tools. There is an interesting subplot revolving about the continuing conflict between Canada, Mexico and sections of the former United States. Even politics raises its ugly head. The end was a nice surprise. Cameron remains a hero and gets the girl(s).

I just finished Corporal Idaho today and the whole book was so exciting, suspenseful, and a very good read. If you want something different Corporal Idaho is the one book you need to read! I couldn't put it down and it is not like the Maid series but still very enjoyable! If you like Devlin's books this is one more you should read!
