5.0 out of 5 stars Articulate yet gentle approach, doesn't dwell, July 8, 2010
This review is from: Corporate Finance in a Nutshell (Nutshell Series) (Paperback)
I'm using this alongside a 1400 page textbook - and this book is more sophisticated than the textbook. That being said, for those who are used to reading close summaries of the law and deriving a general impression from them, this is an amazing shortcut. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Crucial for understanding the larger concepts, April 24, 2008
This review is from: Corporate Finance in a Nutshell (Nutshell Series) (Paperback)
It's too easy to get bogged down by the details when learning corporate finance in class. This book does an excellent job laying out the very basics and giving a very concise, easy to understand birds-eye view.

not only good for studying purposes, but would recommend as a read for anyone involved in anything finance related.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Book, February 7, 2007

This review is from: Corporate Finance in a Nutshell (Nutshell Series) (Paperback)
I'd give it 5 stars but it is not that detailed (then again it is a Nutshell). It does provide clear, plain English explanations on the major concepts in Corporate Finance and is enjoyable to read. If you like Nutshells you will like this.

I used this book and read it before I had to read the text book. it sets a nice foundation that makes the text a bit easier to understand.
