5.0 out of 5 stars Empowering and Motivating Women Entrepreneurs, August 30, 2010
By
This review is from: Corporate Mom Dropouts (Paperback)
If there comes a time when I start to doubt myself, I will pick up Corporate Mom Drop Outs by Lucinda Cross, for encouragement. This book is full of inspiration and motivation. Readers will delve into the world of women who have children, run successful businesses from their living rooms, and take care of their home all in one day's time.

The book starts with Conception: You're the Boss, which gets readers excited for what is to come. The book is placed into trimesters, which will help readers along the journey of birthing their possibilities. From the first story until the last, and even the helpful tips along the way, will have readers changing their minds about Corporate America. I found myself relating to many of the women in this book as well as being guilty of some of the dos and don'ts that are mentioned.

I appreciated every woman that shared their story because this book will help others who are trying to leave the corporate world as well as those wanting to start their own business. My favorite story is by Sophfronia Scott who is an Author, Speaker, and Book Coach. She is also the owner of Done For You Writing and Publishing Company. I related to her more because we have been through similar situations and reading her story encouraged me to do more for myself and the advice she provides is worth checking into.

I do not want to give away too much, so readers will have to experience the joy that I received from reading this book by getting their own copy. Corporate Mom Drop Outs can be used as a tool to help in making huge decisions and can be used as a daily inspirational guide to keep close by. I choose the latter. I definitely recommend this book to others.
