Companies seeking "quantum improvement" are usually so busy with change management, process reengineering, total quality, customer satisfaction, etc., that they either totally ignore or skimp on employee development. The book does an excellent job of providing the reader with everything from background material to corporate university models to curriculum issues. As a consultant to a Fortune 500 company involved in creating a sustained learning initiative, I found this book most valuable.
