Serving up a heaping slab of melodic rock, June 3, 2007
Main ingredients are Foreigner, Styx, and of course Journey. At times those vocals could remind the listener of Steve Perry. There is an abundance of talent showcased on this release. Although I paid import pricing to get my hands on this, I didn't come away feeling I overpaid and felt it was worth every penny. I've had this cd for quite some time now, and I always pull it out every 3 months or so and enjoy it all over again for days at a time. A satisfying disc filled with some pure melodic bliss moments. There is definitely some quality stuff on here. My favorite tracks are the title track, Sacrifice, Time, Down on my knees, Every Man, and Giving me the reason. If you are a Journey/Foreigner/Styx/Boston/REO fan, or a melodic rock fan in general, I'd recommend you pick up this release
