3.0 out of 5 stars Review, February 18, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I will admit I found this class to be challenging. The book covered the material, but I just had a hard time grasping it. It did give forms and examples of what certain agreements should look like or what shareholder forms should look like. Sometimes I had to read paragraphs a few times to make sure I understood exactly what the book was trying to convey.

It was an OK book - I also did notice a few typo's throughout the book, which is unfortunate. In any event, the book will get you through the class.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to read, October 5, 2009

I am only into the third chapter, but for a book that may sound boring, it is actually quite good. The boldface definitions on the side are helpful, and the explanations are clear. The first chapter alone taught me more about torts than I think I learned in an entire semester of torts. It was also a terrific idea to split the chapters by type of business, i.e. sole proprietorship, etc. The book isn't cheap, but overall I think I will get my money's worth by the time the semester is finished.

4.0 out of 5 stars Quality resource!, May 27, 2009
By
Law of Corporations and Other Business Organizations

Ms. Schneeman has done a very nice job in providing an approachable, well organized textbook for the paralegal student or others interested in learning more about the different forms of legal entities and how they are used. Included sample forms, links to external resources, and biographies of working paralegals round out this newly revised (2009) 5th edition.
