5.0 out of 5 stars INCREDIBLE!, January 18, 2009
This book covers absolutely everything about the real forces of the world. Much of this information is not found anywhere else, I think. There is so much in this book. It's a big book, like a textbook, but you just cannot put it down, and everyone I loan it to says once they start reading they cannot put the d@#$ thing down! This book has over 820 footnotes backing up the claims, which are not just ideas, but stuff we can SEE. The book basically shows that certain big business fat-cats go a lot further than most of us would ever imagine in trying to control everyone, down to our deepest thoughts. The book also shows the way this hurts people, and what this secretive group has planned for the future--not pretty, scary stuff. This book does remind me of some of the things I read about with the global agenda in David Icke's books (especially the first few chapters of the INFINITE LOVE book), but without the reptoids--but I can't really compare this book to any others, it is just too unique. The best chapter, I say, is the chapter on vaccines. The book has lots of charts and makes connections I never saw before. I have read a lot in this area (PJ Watson, Tarpley, Thorn, others), and this book is by far the meatiest, and cuts to the real issues better than any others I know of. I feel I really understand how things work in the world after this book. This book is not for those who want to splash perfume on themselves and think that we need to just focus on Congress or the courts if we want to save ourselves. It goes much further than that, and shows that virtually all areas of society are controlled by this one secret group, but it shows this much more clearly than Icke does. You might think you are saving the world if you join the Peace Corps or vote for Kucinich, but Prof. Grupp shows in this book that, well, it's all part of the secret government. We are all like the people in that movie THE ISLAND!

5.0 out of 5 stars The contents of this book should not be a secret!!!, April 21, 2009

This review is from: Corporatism: The Secret Government of the New World Order (Paperback)
When I started reading about Builderbergs and shadow governemnts a year or so ago I thought books like this were idiot fodder. NOT SO. The things Congress does that seem to make no sence begin to fall into place like pieces to a puzzle. Why is the government so hell bent on forced population growth by a third world uneducated population...read. Why is the government so into Geneticly modified food...read...and you won't like it. Who controls your Congress..you won't like this either. One thing I do know is the greatest enemy to these masters of the universe is an educated well informed public. The more you know the more you can inform others.

5.0 out of 5 stars Read this book asap., January 30, 2008
This review is from: Corporatism: The Secret Government of the New World Order (Paperback)
This book is a needed wake up call for everyone. I could not recommend this book enough. You must read this with the most open mind possible and set aside a lot of things that you believe to be true. It is not leftist, or conservative, are Marxist or any of the usual. It is cold hard fact, scientific analysis and common sense that cuts through vast illusion and disinformation about what is truly happening in the world today. I have been studying these subjects for years and have never seen such a comprehensive and simple to understand approach. This world is more evil and cruel than a lot of things that I can even come up with in my imagination. Luckily we the people far outnumber this evil force, we only need to realize as a whole, as one, and say enough is enough. And maybe even achieve a higher state of consciousness along the way. People are waking up all over the world to what is really going on, inform yourself and spread the information, love, hope and do not ever be afraid. Do what you know to be right without fear of the consequences. Fear of the consequences only manifests the consequences.

Jimmy Lee "James" (Manhasset, N.Y. United States) - See all my reviews

Before I review this book, I will say that my mindset was impartial and curious before reading it. I agree with some other reviewers here on the premise that although this book may come off as hogwash, entertaining, worrisome, unsettling, or possibly just nerve racking. Regardless of anyone's beliefs I feel as though this book will be hard to put down once you start reading. There are some very interesting topics that Jeffrey Grupp analyzes with skepticism and serious doubt. Moreover, the evidence he uses to support his various claims ( Charts graphs, historical events, photographs) is also quite convincing and just might ignite independent thought and curiosity among the mindless masses that we unfortunately do have here in America.

Although no one can exactly prove as to whether certain events such as 9/11 happened as portrayed in the media and newspapers as factual or fabricated, this is not the main point here as repeated by Jeffrey Grupp over and over again. However, his main emphasis is not too dwell on the exact certainty or details of these events but to question things. As we all know we are never taught to question things such as authority. Moreover, we accept everything as factual from our education system, from our world leaders, from our influential business figures ect. In America, we are not taught to think like careful skeptics, or better rephrased "careful scientists", but obedient workers. The ironic part is we do learn about the scientific method early in childhood if one was enrolled in most grammar schools, (well, at least I did) but we are not actually trained to think like one. Despite the range of historical and recent current events that may or may not come off as too sensitive or taboo for discussion, he does accept the fact that he is merely trying to incorporate a way of thinking that defies what most Americans mentality represents, which is passive acceptance. He further discusses certain tools that are carried out to effectively bring about this type of mentality such as the all powerful and influential television, radio, advertisements, medical schools ect.

This is carried out by who? The mighty and all powerful Corporatists who pretty much run this country in it's entirety. Some might argue that this particular claim is too strong or exaggerated but one cannot deny the fact there has always been and will always be a strong connection between Big Business and Big Government. There is no doubt about it. Regardless of any type of government, there is a connection. I feel as though what has happened in our recent economy today namely the financial crisis, the government bailouts, our current monetary policy, businesses, only reinforces this idea further. Another topic that Grupp discusses in detail is our system of Democracy that according to him is really no different from any other system of government such as communism and fascism. It is this carefully constructed illusion that America props up so effectively that it happens to be accepted and overlooked by the general population. The concept of free choice, private ownership, free enterprise (some of the known ideas that truly shape Democracy) is proven false on one level or another. Some of us find this the hard way or remain willfully ignorant of this illusion that is surrounded by distractions whether it is electronic, catastrophic, ridiculous, or sacred. Some of the other interesting topics that are thoroughly discussed in this book is our present education system, medical school system, financial system, politics and current diseases that kill people everyday.

Personally, I am not going to debate any of the specific events in this book but I will say that it does effectively show an interesting way of thinking that is not quite new either, but very old and ancient actually. Unfortunately, we are not taught to think this way in America. As a result, you are left with a very passive and accepting population that doesn't learn to question but to just nod your head and move on. Moreover, independent thought is frowned upon and even sometimes ridiculed for the sake of conformity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Now, in 2010... prophetic!, April 14, 2010
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I agree with most everything Jeffery Grupp reveals in this book. I believe he could have revealed additional disturbing details regarding the attack on 9-11, but perhaps that is for another book and many have already been written. I was glad he devoted several pages to Chemtrail spraying and Kucinich's bill H.R.2977, and the mysterious Morgellons disease.

Since this book was written in 2007, before Barack Obama was elected, I think a new forward needs to be added regarding the recent ruling from the US Supreme Court giving international and national corporations the right to influence US elections with unlimited funding; the fact that the Oil industry was given the right to add more off-shore drilling when they aren't paying their existing lease agreements on off-shore drilling; the whopper of our Financial meltdown where the corporate banks were determined "too big to fail"; AND, don't forget the recent, massive, give-a-way to big Pharma and Health Insurance companies instead of universal or even a public option in health care.

Now, in 2010, Jeffery's book seems even more prophetic!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing; Just Not For The Sheeple!, February 14, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This book is excellent; though not for those that are new to the agenda of the elite. I state this because it's written on the basis that the reader actually understands that we are slaves to Corporatism; those that control every facet of our lives including both needs and wants. Recommended for those whom are awake, but would like the greater details of putting it all together.

5.0 out of 5 stars Putting It Altogether, February 14, 2010
If you're awake and wonder how it all fits; this is the book for you. There are those others that have different names for the elite and the style of governmental tyranny in which they deem to impose upon the people. Corporatism is simply the best way to put who's really behind the agenda to bring us into slaves. Orwells' 1984 realized, but with new technology to really help implement Big Brother and the worst formed "ISM" we've ever faced; though without the mass even realizing it. It's because it's not the type of slavery on the physical aspect as most would expect; it's psychological and that's why many don't even realize where we're at in today's society, nor where we're truly going.

5.0 out of 5 stars The truth will set you free, October 10, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
A very well written and documented book which I would highly recommend reading before continuing on with commenting and voicing opinion about our world situation. This book clearly presents an awareness of the truth so conviently hidden and disguised by those actually in power and control which will establish a far clearer perspective of the hidden reality presently in global control of our lives. Without saying more, invest the time towards knowing what is really going on behind the illusory facade most all of us are blindly quibbling about.

3.0 out of 5 stars I gave it three stars, February 25, 2010

The book was an interesting read. It contained some very interesting content and seemed to have been researched well. The use of graphs and charts helped to validate the authors point. I really liked the one about the various diseases. The author presented some rather profound insights at times. And I found myself putting the book down on several occassions engaged deep in thought regarding a sentence or paragraph I had just read. I found some things to be a bit too far fetched to be believed. For instance, practically a whole nation of people placed in concentration camps. It seemed to me that the book was more about government conspiracy and the usurping of human right and oppression than corporatocracy. And it was often verbose at times. However, all things considered, the quantity of subject matter and the reference material supplied invokes some degree of appreciation for the author efforts.
