Editorial Reviews

Review

`The scope of this, the fourth volume of the Corpus of Anglo-Saxon stone sculpture, is much greater than the title would suggest, for it covers an area as far north as Bedford and as far west as Breamore, in addition to the counties more usually thought of as the south-east, namely Kent, Surrey and Sussex. The main part of the volume consists of a detailed catalogue of the stone carvings which survive from this area.' Barbara C. Raw, Early Medieval Europe 1997 6 (1)
