I was not prepared for how thick and heavy these would be. They will last a long time.
The Art is excellent as well. The hallways and many other tiles have alternate uses on back side, so the GM can hide these way until it is to late for his players. My only complaint is they don't interconnect and they slide around the table a bit. I don't know how this could be corrected and still keep everything tidy, so I am very happy. S

I had steered clear of these because I envisioned them to be like the thin tiles in the DMG. However, after reading the other review (thanks Scott Stokes :)) I decided to buy the first set. After opening the first set, I ordered the other two immediately. I haven't used them yet, because my group is off for a couple weeks but I'm sure they'll be a hit. They are very thick and durable. I would definitely recommend them to any DM who wants to add a little realism to their battles/minis.

Of all the WoTC tile sets this is the most generic.
This is good, because it's quite versatile. If you want regular square stone tiles in many shapes and sizes, this set will fit the bill without many of the distracting piles of bodies, vast chasms, or other descriptive scenery other tile sets have. On the other hand, it's kinda boring (the occasional magic glowy thing is on a tile, but mostly it's plain). Star Wars Galaxy tiles fits the same bill for scifi. If you want plain tiles, this set has the most of them.

After reading the other reviews of these tiles, I was expecting something pretty good, but when I saw them I was still blown away. These tiles are such good quality that I would recommend them to anyone. These will get a lot of use for sure!

These tiles come in handy for any dungeon. To make them long lasting and to protect from spills just mount a sheet of glass on 4 supports over the tiles and you won't have to worry about stains or the tiles being knocked out of place.

A good addition to the base set.,

If you liked the inital release of the dungeon tiles, this second set makes a good addition to give you increased flexibility. With that said, I find nothing in the set that really WOWs me.

This is a very good, versatile set. Although, if you can get your hands on more than one, I'd avise buying two sets. I like to make fairly large dungeons and there are a lot of "flavor" pieces included. These are great, but it cuts back a bit on the rest of the selection. Overall, however, this is one of the best sets that I have seen!

This is a very useful set of tiles for any fantasy based tabletop rpg. I now own two of this set, and most of the others released in the last year or so.

Like the other tile sets, this one is pretty, and sturdy cardboard.
And like the other sets, for an extensive crawl through a wizardly lair, buy more than one set.

If you use miniatures, then you probably own a set or two. These are durable tiles that are fairly universal for dungeon settings. Buy two or three sets if you need to expand. I like 'em and you can't beat the price.
