Can't get enough of Chaos
Robert Earl has written a number of 'Warhammer Fantasy' novels. This is not a long novel, really more like a novella. Perhaps if it had been longer there would be more flesh on the bones here. That does not mean this was not a fun read. Both the plot and characters were enjoyable, it just needed another 100 pages. I'm giving this 4 stars (though really it should be 3.5),...

Good premise, but bounces around too much
It's an amazing read, but the book continuously jumps from character to character and plot to plot. It definitely captures the feel of Warhammer FRP, but I think that it could have been fleshed out a little more (the book is very short).

I'm giving this 4 stars (though really it should be 3.5), maybe the bonus 1/2 star is for the wonderfully lurid cover art. I have already picked up the other 'Warhammer Fantasy' books by Robert Earl and look forward to reading them.

Robert Earl's other three books were much better--don't get me wrong the book is okay--but just okay not great. It jumps around a lot and never really seems to find any direction. I recommend his other three books wholeheartedly, and this one too if your looking for a quick read just don't expect too much.
