Replaced the stock RAM in my Acer Aspire netbook Acer Aspire One AO722-0473 11.6-Inch HD Netbook (Espresso Black) with this and it works like a charm. Shaved 15 secs off the boot time and is noticeably faster while running Netbeans IDE.

My netbook came with Windows 7 (64-bit) and 2 GB RAM in one slot. This 8 GB module installed easily and worked right away without any fuss!

I recently have been reading about how the Core i7 Second Generation L502X can accept the 8 GB DDR3 modules. I was curious and excited, but my Dell XPS 15 kept on saying (via the Dell site) to only support maximum of 8 GB (2- 4 GB modules). I kept reading only of people saying it would work.. and I am happy to say it does. I had 6 GB (1 2GB module and 1 4GB Module). I replaced the 2 GB module with this Corsair 8 GB module and everything works perfectly. I have Windows 7 Home Premium and it correctly recognizes 12 GB of memory.

Installing it was a breeze and it everything booted perfectly. The real great feature (for me) is to open some really big files and know I have plenty of memory left (ie Premier or Photoshop). If you want more more memory, I would recommend this memory. Also, if you did not believe that the 8 GB modules were compatible with the XPs 15 i7 Core (2nd Generation)...well they are.. just remember to flash your BIOS to the current version first....

Enjoy!! works great!

The Apple specifications for my MacBook Pro with an intel 2.7 GHz i7 processor say the most RAM you can put in is 8 GB. WRONG! I took a chance and ordered to of these memory modules and now my reports 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3. Now you only need this upgrade if you run LOTS of applications at the same time or are processing video, high resolution photos or a power user. If you are browsing the web, answering emails and doing some word processing, save your money. But if you are in the need for more RAM in your MacBook Pro and think 8GB is your limit -- THINK AGAIN!

I bought this module to extend the memory of my Acer Aspire AO725-0487 from 4GB to 8GB.

It was a very simple 1 minute upgrade: remove the battery first, remove a screw and slide the cover to remove it, swap the memory modules, put back the cover, screw and battery and you are good to restart the machine. I checked first that the memory was recognized by the BIOS (version 2.12, shows 8GB of RAM). Then Windows came up (not faster or slower as far as I could see) and showed 7.7GB of usable RAM (instead of 3.7GB with the 4GB SODIMM)

The refreshed Windows Experience Index for the memory is now 5.1 (from 4.9) and the overall index stayed to 3.2 (limited by the index of the AMD C70 CPU). This is a good surprise to see the memory index improved.

I recommend anyone to do this upgrade. If like me, you have several memory hungry applications running, having the extra memory pushes the limits farther before the OS starts to swap and switching between tabs and applications stays very smooth.
I actually use this machine as a poor man's super slim development laptop connected to a 1080P monitor via HDMI, good USB keyboard and wireless mouse that I can still bring anywhere if I need to and it works great once you remove the junkware it comes installed with and pushed the memory to 8GB.
I run AVG, Chrome with 20 tabs open, Eclipse with many plug-ins, Apache HTTPd & Tomcat, MySQL workbench, cygwin, Docs in Adobe Reader, some Office tools, Remote Desktop Connection ... I get over 4 GB of used RAM easily, but not close to 8GB yet. This upgrade positively affects how this machine works for my needs.

Quick note: I tried to do this upgrade with a cheaper brand-less SODIMM found on Ebay, and it did not work. So I recommend to stick with reputable manufacturers. I would have saved $10 (restock fee + sending it back) and aggravation, time, ...

Just my 2 cents - I hope this helped - Enjoy your upgraded machine :-)

I have an early 2011 Macbook Pro 13 which came with standard 4 Gigs of ram. Bought one of these 8GB modules and replaced one of my 2GB ram. Now system sees 10GB ram. Works great, apps are starting even faster. Gonna replace another 2GB module with this 8GB.

Works great with my HP EliteBook 8460p. Now using the factory 4GB stick along with this one. It passed the memory test in the HP BIOS.

Purchased two of these for my Macbook Pro late 2011. They arrived very fast, did not expect such fast free shipping. Installed them as soon as I got them . Error free and giving my laptop a huge boost.
