4.0 out of 5 stars Small size but could have been faster
This one is quite small and it feels durable because of the rubber housing. Speed-wise, it's just decent, meaning around 5 MB/s write and 20 MB/s read. For a 16GB drive, the write speed is quite small as it will take forever if you want to fill it in one go. It also has a quite long access time compared to other USB sticks I own.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice drive, unfortunately can be hard to use
I was looking for a small usb drive I could keep on my key chain that did not use a cap that I would end up losing. This drive fulfills that purpose pretty well but does have a few drawbacks.
First though a couple pros of this drive. It is fairly small at just under 1 3/4" x 3/4" x 3/8". Also the shell is made out of a soft rubber that seems pretty durable. The...

The clip to attach the drive to a keyring reminds me of a necklace clip. While it is handy and after a bit of practice pretty easy to attach and remove the drive, it seems a little fragile and I worry a bit about it breaking off. I haven't measured the speed of the drive but it feels a little slower than some of the drives I've used in the past, not horribly bad though. The biggest problem I've had with the drive so far is the usb connector has a tendency to just slide back into the drive instead of going in the port. This isn't much of a problem when plugging into a desktop since there is usually space to hold onto the tab on the bottom of the drive and stop it from sliding in. On a notebook though there often isn't space to keep a finger under the drive and I have to lift the notebook up or slide it to the edge of the table in order to plug in the drive. So overall this ends up being a nice handy drive with plenty of space that I can keep with me all the time. It can just be a little harder to use than it should be at times.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great, with one major exception., December 22, 2009

This flash drive is almost ideal; it's tiny, rugged, and protects itself without need of a cover. There is, however, one major flaw: The rubber hole which is used to attach this onto one's keychain is incredibly flimsy. It broke within days, and no amount of superglue will keep it together. Therefore, this drive is now useless to me. If it's not on my keychain, it's lost.

1.0 out of 5 stars undependable, August 23, 2010
Although I willingly paid the premium price asked for this drive, I can only express disappointment with the performance.
Although it is reasonably fast when writing new files to it, it is crushingly slow when overwriting files.
And, today, only a few months after I bought it, I am finding it difficult to get the computer to recognize that it is plugged in - no matter which USB port I try.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not for use on a keychain, January 18, 2011
I attached this drive to my keychain expecting it would be up to the level of abuse of sitting in my pocket every day. However, after around 8 months of keeping it on my keychain, the sliding mechanism stopped locking. Now, less than a year after purchasing, the sliding USB drive part completely broke out of rubberized body, rendering it useless. I am currently trying to get it replaced under warranty, but it seems like it will just happen again..

5.0 out of 5 stars By far the most durable USB Flash drive in the market, November 22, 2010
This review is from: Corsair 8GB Flash Voyager Mini USB 2.0 Flash Drive CMFUSBMINI-8GB (Personal Computers)
I have owned many flash drives because I'm a computer teacher, and this is the most durable one i have ever come across. I'll never use anything else. I've seen these things boiled and frozen and still work great! Also these drives don't come with unnecessary software that slows down your loading time like most of the other drives on the market do. Great design and amazingly small!

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid flashdrive, October 25, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
does what its supposed to. transfer speeds arent blazing, but they are good enough. best feature is that its small, rugged and protected by the rubberized casing and slide mechanism. does attract a lot of lint/dust. i had a 4gb version, and just upgraded to the 16gb version due to size of work files. price was great with the rebate.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does what its supposed to do, February 21, 2012

What can I say........its a flash drive. Don't want to go out and test it to see if its water proof, even though thats what its supposed to do. Would like to see how fast it uploads since its 3.0. The one thing that could be a improvment on it is the slider tang, alittle hard to slide out the usb tip, but not a big deal.

2.0 out of 5 stars Desepcionante - Disappointing, September 9, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I consider that Corsair flash drives are the best, is fast and works well, the problem is that the one I bought, in few weeks of use it broke the internal mechanism that keeps the USB connector retracted, further, the plastic guides used instead of the typical metal connector broked. In performance, it is a good memory, but the physicality aspect of the device is very disappointing ...
