Product Description

If you’re building a high-performance full tower PC system, Obsidian Series 750D is a great start. Obsidian 750D Side view
The full tower Obsidian case for great-looking high performance PCs

The Obsidian Series 750D full tower PC case combines generous expansion flexibility, room for advanced cooling options, and an interior that’s optimized for fast and easy builds and upgrades. It has a clean, elegant exterior that dispenses with arbitrary plastic add-ons in exchange for the beauty of brushed aluminum and solid steel. This rigid, rugged exterior surrounds a frame that has ample room for high-performance components and the sophisticated cooling you’ll need if you’re going to push those components to their limits. And, it incorporates a host of clever system builder-focused features, because building a system should be straightforward, trouble-free, and even fun.

The room you need when you’re getting serious

Nine PCI-E expansion slots support double and triple GPUs. There’s room for up to ten drives, and four USB ports on the brushed aluminum front panel.

Your system. Your cooling.

The three included Corsair AF140L high-airflow 140mm intake and exhaust fans are custom engineered to deliver excellent airflow with less unnecessary turbulence and noise. You can mount up to eight fans, with room for dual radiators on the bottom, front, and top.

Designed for fast, straightforward builds

The side panels and expansion slots use thumb screws, and storage installation is tool-free. A center-post standoff holds the motherboard in place while you secure it, and the dust filters are easily accessible and removable. Our innovative cable routing system has multiple cutouts with rubber grommets for superior airflow and a cleaner look, and the CPU backplate cutout lets you install or upgrade your CPU cooling without removing the motherboard.

Corsair Obsidian 750D
Take control of your storage

There are four separate mounting locations for the drive cages, and if you’re moving to 100% solid-state, you can remove the 3.5” cages entirely and use the four side-mounted 2.5” cages.

The SSD drive bays make it real nice for installing those.

Although the two side panels are metal, the front of the case and the top are plastic.

This case is beyond awesome. Corsair still make the best damn cases around. For the price, it's a steal. It fits basically every motherboard with no problems. It has tool-less ssd and hdd slots. Pop them in and bam you are done! The big window is cool because you can show off your build.

Pros:
-So much space
-Tool-less ssd & hdd slots
-Steel and aluminum finish
-Big side window
-Airflow keeps my computer cool
-9 PCI slots
-Removable top dust filter
-Simple case

Cons:
-Bottom dust filter would be nice
-Front dust filter gets dirty quickly

You will not be disappointed with this case!

Edit:

So I had this case when it barely came out and still rock solid... the only issues I had is when I had a intake fan on the bottom of the case, it was basically sucking up everything because there isn't a dust filter there and the front dust filter gets dirty quickly.

I have 6 fans for maximum air flow and it keeps it cool. I have custom cables because I have a red theme and if you are swapping the psu cables or just using an extension, you still have plenty of space. I use to have a NZXT Phantom and the metal kept bending which sucked.

Overall, still love this case

This is one of the best cases for the price.

There are many good and bad things about this case. Also before I start, I'll note this is my 2nd 750d. My first one arrived with a chip in the front, so Amazon sent me a brand new one that is perfect and I am very happy with it so far.

I'll start with the good things. Overall, this case has a very nice look and feel to it. One of the most useful features I find is the SSD cages. It's perfect if you have many drives, so you don't have to have two drive bays in the case; the drive bays are removable. Thats another great feature, the removable drive bays. Another awesome addition to this case are the stock fans. It comes with 3 stock AF120's. Although they may not look as cool as the regular AF120's, they perform the same and are extremely quiet. I also like the tinted window very much, it looks awesome. Another plus are the dust filters that come with the case. There are 3 filters, the PSU filter, the magnetic filter on the top of the case, and the front filter that covers the two front intake fans. They are easy to clean and are very accessible. The front panel and easy to take off, and can be easily placed back on as well with a simple push and click. The case is very light, and can easily be transported both empty and full. It's great for a custom watercooling loop, as it supports up to 3 or 4 radiators I think.

I'll also talk about the bad parts of this case. This case has a lot of plastic. Although the two side panels are metal, the front of the case and the top are plastic. I feel that case would a bit nicer with a full metal body. I also dislike the front of the DVD Drive bays very much. They look horrible if you put a res/pump combo in the front, as well as a DVD drive. You can see pictures of what I mean if you google the case.

Wow this case is awesome. It is big, beautiful, lightweight, and has tons of room in it. I wanted a full tower to get better airflow for a dual graphics card setup. I just didn't want a case it would take a forklift to move. This case has both! I can pick it up, move it, and there's enough room left over that a family of hamsters could camp out for the weekend inside. This was my second build and the space and cable routing made things so much easier over my 1st mid-tower Rosewill Challenger. This was a fun and easy case to use. I really enjoyed it and I would whole-heatedly recommend this case to anyone. Check out the pictures I posted to see the room and difference between a full and mid tower case.

Pros:
Big with a lot of space.

Motherboard risers built in. I didn't have to install risers, that was a plus.

Great cable management. Room for miles of fan controller wires, temp probes, extra plugged in Sata cables for future expansion, etc. etc.

Panels close like car doors. Nice in the back because you can shut them on your cables not slide over them. Like a hinged door without the hinge.

2.5" bays mounted in "dead-space" on back panel. Quickly fits SSDs and Laptop HDDs.

Removable HDD cages. The cages and nice, sturdy, made of metal not plastic, and removable if you don't need them. I didn't and it lightened the case and made for much better airflow.

It is a nice clean case. I am a grown-up (subjectively) and I didn't want a full tower that looked like it belonged in a Transformers movie. This case is a looker. My wife, who is not a tech person, looked at the PC when it was built and said, wow... that is beautiful, it can sit on a desk like a piece of art. That says a lot coming from her.

The case is light.

The case is huge and beautiful. Everything fit easily and had great cable management options. The front fan filter vibrates a little bit, and the built in I/O cables need to be a little longer so that they can be routed behind the mobo. My ASRock z77 extreme4 didn't fit that well -- the PCI-E/PCI cards I have didn't sit right as the mobo is a good inch away from the case once mounted. I fixed this with long screws, but taking off one star for that and the front fan filter noise. Definitely a top tier case.
