Unbelievably quiet, even after adding two more Corsair SP120's and switching my bios CPU fan setting to "turbo". Keeps my 3770k nice and cool.

Protip: It only comes with 8 screws to mount the fans. If you plan on adding another 2 fans you'll need also need to purchase 8 more 1 1/4" length x 6/32 thread screws.

I have been building PC systems for years now and I for one believe Corsair is the number one brand in PC components. This CPU cooler fits wonderful in my Cooler Master HAF X case in a push/pull setup. It keeps my i7 4770k at around 55 degrees C fully stressed at standard fan settings.

I replaced the stock fans with the SP120 High Performance fans and they match the red colored ring awesome which goes with the color theme of my current build (black and red).

I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again, and I would recommend it to everyone who has space in their case and is in the market for a new liquid CPU cooler.

Update 3/11/2014

I bought a second h105 to pair with my GTX 780 ti, and the NZXT G10. At full stress the GPU doesn't surpass 36 degrees at standard fan settings.

I am really pleased with this product.

Corsair has made another high quality product. I bought this to upgrade from a Corsair H80i closed loop water cooler and I did so to help drop my CPU temps in an overclocked I5 system. I was not pushing crazy overclocks but I wanted a more efficient, larger cooler to match my Corsair Air 540 case. To be frank, the H80i rocked, this was more of a i just wanted it upgraded than anything.

The radiator is a bit thicker and care must be taken when matching to your computer case and motherboard. The Corsair Air540 can take a full H80i in push/pull config, and the H105 is no different. The rad is a bit thinner than the H80i rad but that makes it easier to mount in push/pull configs, but I highly recommend only a Pull config given how efficient this H105 is as a cooler.

I was getting idle temps at 40 degrees C, and load temps at max 60 degrees C on my H80i at 4.5Ghz overclock I5.
Now I get 29 degrees C at Idle, and 52 degrees C at full load on the H105 at 4.5Ghz overclock I5.

The included Corsair SP120 fans are much quieter than the H100i and my H80i fans, those fans on the H80i and H100i are nasty loud at even low speeds. But Corsair listened and put much quieter 120SP fans on the H105 this time and they are much quieter overall. At full speed they will be heard but not nearly as loud as the previous fans Corsair included.

I chose to swap the included Corsair SP120 fans to Noctua NF-F12 fans in only a pull config. Not only is pull easier to dust clean, the pull config makes it easier to have an efficient power use setup while being able to get performance from the higher quality Noctua fans overall. The H105 with Noctua NF-F12 fans makes a world of difference on sound as well as performance over the included Corsair fans.

Upgraded from an H80 and my god is the H105 quiet. I cannot even tell that my fans are running. It literally sounds like my 'internet browsing' laptop while running games. The H80 was so deafening that I couldn't even sleep with my computer on. I left my computer on last night after I installed the H105 and slept like a baby.

The install was a walk in the park compared to my H80. I have an AMD setup so there were extra steps involved but they include everything to adjust to the AMD Mobo. This all said, don't let Corsair fool you by saying it is tool free because you do need a Phillips head screw driver to mount the fans and radiator (also for any accommodations needed to put this guy in). The only tool free part was installing the cooling block on your CPU. It is 100% easier to install with a friend (having him/her hold the radiator up while you screw it in) but it is doable by yourself.

Two Side Notes:

1) There are two sets of screws and directions. One is for Intel and one is for AMD (had me a little confused).

2)When installing with the AMD mounting bracket, the bracket will feel loose when you put in the tool free screws (the ones with two threaded sides). DO NOT WORRY, once you screw in the cooling block, it will pull up the mounting bracket and secure it tightly!

I was having issues with game FPS dropping do to overheating from the H80 but that is completely gone and I am back to running max FPS in all my games! For reference I have the AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz CPU.

Seriously, this has to be the best $120 I spent this year so far! Highly recommend!

Sadly my experience with this unit is vastly different than others. When I received the unit, everything looked great, the quality appeared to be very nice and the documentation was excellent. The first issue I noticed was how flimsy and cheap the backplate appears, for this price it should be metal. Regardless, the unit installed with complete ease and I was impressed. The first thing I wanted to do was run Prime95 and get a nice baseline on cooling performance before I did ANY overclocking. Here is where the disappointment began. I'll just post my results and let them speak for themselves:

These are some mind blowing bad numbers for a completely stock i7-4790k with NO OVERCLOCK OR ADJUSTMENTS AT ALL. I decided to remove the cooler and make sure everything was correct. While uninstalling I noticed something quite alarming, there's a gap between my motherboard (Asus ROG Maximus VII Formula) and the standoffs. You can see the gap here:

There should not be a gap. I checked to make sure the unit was secured tightly and it was. There is simply no more room for the screw to travel, it's at the end of the threads. I removed the unit anyway and cleaned the paste with 90% iso alcohol. I reapplied using some high end compound (Noctua NT-H1) and tested again. http://i.imgur.com/BOPHMx4.png. Barely made a difference at all.
At this point I made a forum post on Corsairs website and created a support ticket asking for help. Sadly, there's been no help AT ALL from Corsair (I even directly addressed a rep on another forum and asked if he would mind to take a look at the issue, no response). I'm going to give Corsair a few more days to step up and help me but it's ridiculous I've been waiting for DAYS with NOT ONE SINGLE response at all.
