Very quiet and does the work.

Good PSU for most applications, however i wish the spacing between the 6pin conncetors on same rails was a little longer.
Kamil Wiecko
Surprised to see that it beat out many Bronze rated PSU's and with a better wattage.

5 SATA power connectors come on two cables, one in a chain of 2 and one in a chain of 3. I guess they would work fine if you have your disks stacked one on top of the other. In my case I had to put 2 HDs side by side and 2 SSDs side by side. It didn't work for this arrangement because the SATA connectors in each chain are too close together. I had to buy an additional cable.

Apart from that it was great - the best I could find that fits the standard size for cases for micro ATX mobos. As far as I can see if you want a better PSU than this you've got to go for a full size case and mobo.

I built my first computer with one of these, and it worked great. Clean modular design is awesome, and it provided plenty of power for my mATX build. The only drawback was that the fan started buzzing loudly after a few weeks. I'm returning it for another one, so hopefully the next one will be okay. If not for the fan noise, this thing would get 5 stars from me.

The SATA power connecters are far too close together. I couldn't get two hard drives and a CD-ROM drive connected securely and without worry over bending the connection on the device in my mini-ITX case because of how close the SATA connectors were along the ribbon cable. This was really dissapointing - each SATA ribbon cable (comes with two) have two SATA connectors (vs. three which would have solved this issue easily) and I had to move the center connector in order for it to work. Ridiculous. This is compounded by the nutjob that designed the SATA port in the first place. It has to be one way and SATA power cables are ribbon cables and thus wire comes out the left or right not the top so if your HDD is mounted to a location where the back of it is not unobstructed, you can't plug it in without sort of bending the wires hard and having the drive's port be under stress.

very nice unit. I used my kill a watt meter before and after installing this unit and found it used only 111 watts when my pc was idle verses 130 watts that my generic dell psu used when idle. during periods of high load such as playing video games the power supply used aroud 180 watts versed 215 watts my generic dell psu. so you can expect to see some energy savings at around 20 to 30 watts which is pretty nice.

Pros:
very quiet
looks nice
modular cables
energy efficient (saved me 20-30 watts)

Cons:
SATA cable was not long enough to go all the way across my case to where my HD was located. I just moved my HD, so not a huge problem

I actually really like this PSU. It comes in a really attractive package, operates whisper quiet, and comes with a solid warranty. The reason I gave this PSU 4 stars is that the cabling options are a little bit less than desirable and I ended up having to go to a friend to get more modular connectors. If you're throwing a lot of drives into your case, you'll probably want to consider either getting more SATA power cables or stepping up to the CS650M or maybe even a higher power PSU. But for the price, you simply cannot beat this power supply.

This was the first time I've ever replaced a power supply. It was really quite easy although it took me a while to realize the 8 pin CPU power plug would divide into two 4 pin plugs which is what I needed The 24 pin motherboard plug also divides into a 20 pin and 4 pin plug. I guess that's common knowledge among people who build computers but I didn't know and there was no literature. Of course that stuff is all online but if you have a bad power supply it kinda hard to get online.
So far it's working great.

Ridiculously easy cable management with this.
Measured with a P3 meter, and it has a near-perfect steady current.
