I have a Crucial SSD c300 which runs circles around this drive. But, then again, it was a fair bit more expensive.

Overall, it's been fine. The thing I like least about Corsair in general is that they're product support sucks. Like firmware updates. Go to their website and look for firmware updates. You'll see what I mean. My buddy's 12-year-old kid could run a better support site.

Also, when I installed it in a laptop, having it in there knocked 30 minutes off my battery, which I found surprising... but, maybe that's normal, I haven't tried anything else or really read any studies. Put my old 7200rpm Seagate platter hard drive back in it, and my battery life went right back up (even though my app/os-loading went to the toilet again).

So... middle of the road. For the price, I'd look around, first.
