Product Description

Extreme CPU Cooling Performance for 280 mm Radiator Mounts

Hydro Series H110 is an all-in-one liquid CPU cooler that provides cooling that’s far superior to stock CPU air fans. Liquid cooling simply works better than air cooling, and the self-contained design of the H110 makes it easy for you to protect your valuable CPU.

140 mm fans reduce noise without lowering performance
Easily adapts for Intel and AMD processors
Take Advantage of Your 280 mm Radiator Mount

For efficient cooling, bigger is better Yndash; it’s simple physics. If your PC’s case can fit a 280 mm radiator, Hydro Series H110 will give you better performance. The larger diameter fans provide better airflow with lower noise than most 120 mm fans, and the 280 mm radiator has more surface area for faster cooling.

Low-RPM 140 mm Fans

The blades of the included 140 mm fan are larger than most 120 mm fan blades, so they don’t need to spin as fast to deliver the same airflow, reducing noise without lowering performance.

Next-Generation Tubing

The low-evaporation, easy-bend tubing is guaranteed leak-free

Advanced Cold Plate and Manifold Design

The cold plate uses copper for outstanding heat transfer, and the manifold is engineered for efficient flow.

The Hydro H110 makes it easy for you to protect your valuable CPU
Simple Mounting Bracket

The multi-platform mounting bracket easily adapts for Intel and AMD processors.

I have an Intel i7 3930k, Corsair 650D, and ASUS X79 Sabertooth. I am upgrading from a Corsair H100, which has the motor griding issue and I solved it using the diode mod. I was able to get a stable 4.8GHz with the H100 with the temps below 85C and a VCore of 1.368. That test was done with BIOS 1203 with an ambient temperature of 26.5 (hot Florida weather)

I love the size of the H110 radiator, the new pump, and the lack of molex. I think the molex connector has to be phased out since I always have a problem plugging molex into my Corsiar AX1200. I ran into problem with mounting the H110 into my 650D. The tubes have to be on the right side of the radiator because the rear fan would interfere with a left side mount. An internal P/P configuration would not work with the H100 and will not work with the H110 as well. The configuration I choose was an exhaust push. One day, Ill have a P/P with fans on the outside of the case. I've done that with my H100. The kit does not come with short mounting screws. I had to use the screws that came with my H100. There is a piece of the 650D top HDD dock that interferes with the H110 radiator. I was able to mount the radiator to the top of my case using 6 out of 8 screws, which is sufficient enough but also looks messy. During my stress testing, I set the fans to spin at full speed. One of the fans started to rattle and then the other started to rattle as well. I already submitted a RMA on the fans. Here are my results using 20 runs on LinX:

4.8GHz, 74C max temp, 1.368V max VCore (could be lower with the 3305 BIOS), 24C ambient
4.9GHz, 82C max temp, 1.392V max VCore, 25.5C ambient
I was not able to hit 5GHz because the VCore was at 1.432V and that was too high for comfort.

This works awesome. I can overclock to the CPU's capability and don't have to worry about overheating. The highest I've been able to get the CPU to is 72c and that is cranking 4800MHz. Wasn't perfect stability at that speed though so I'm back down to 4700MHz and it is rocking along. I love this cooler. It is simple to install, stupid proof and incredibly quiet. The fans don't seem to move much air so I replaced them with the bgears 1800rpm versions. Now they make noise and move lots of air but I don't think it really did much for the temps so I might just go back to the stock ones that are pretty darn impossible to hear. I literally have to stick my head really close to the computer to even know it is on it is so quiet with the stock fans. So yes if you want to be able to run at the fastest possible stable speeds of your CPU then this cooler will do the trick.

I have this running in my pc with an fx 8350 and under PRIME95 torture tests for 48 hours the machine never went above 62c thats running all 8 cores at 100% and 26 gigs of ram. I added two more fans and now the high temp is down to 56c and my idle temp is 32c.

just be careful when installing the back-plate to the motherboard, you run the risk of messing up capacitor pins if you rush it.

read the directions! especially where to put the pump connection- OPT_FAN works best i believe, since it's not a 4-pin you can't connect it to CPU_FAN and have your comp boot.

PROS:
Performance, performance, performance. Dropped my idle temps by 3-5C and dropped my gaming load temps by 10-12C compared to my Noctua NH-D14 that I was using previously. That's absolutely amazing. I get the same temperature results now with my chip at 1.5V 5 GHz as my NH-D14 gave me at 1.4V 4.8 GHz.

Aesthetics compared to a big air tower are nice too... looks much better than a giant heatsink in your case.

5 year warranty is fantastic!

Fit in my Cooler Master Storm Trooper case with zero problems.
----------

CONS:
Installation, while not particularly difficult, is not particularly easy either. Took me a little over an hour to replace my D14 with the H110, from the time the H110 arrived to when I had it booted up.

The instruction manual is pretty minimalist. Again not bad, but not particularly helpful either.

Corsair recommends you use the fans as intake, but I think that's really dumb. You don't want hot air exhausting into your case, since it fights the natural pattern of hot air rising up out of your case.

MAKE SURE IT WILL FIT YOUR CASE
-----------

OTHER
I am using this cooler with 2 modifications. I am using a pair of Noctua NF-A14 FLX fans (as exhaust), instead of the corsair fans here. I also used Noctua's NT-H1 thermal compound instead of whatever stock compound this cooler comes with.

I also have the fans on a fan controller for silence when the computer is at idle.

Keeps the hot 9370 cool. Big but if you get the H110 over the H100i you already know that, and sadly noisy (this is what cost it a star)
