Therefore this is the best single fan Liquid Cooling System for moderate overclocking.
ViperPilot
If it's in the top of the case, note that fan+radiator takes up a good bit of room, so it may be a tight fit.
A. Burnette
It's easy to install if you're somewhat familiar with computers and it works very well.

I've had this cooler for a couple months now and I'm happy to review it.

This thing is just great. Honestly. It provides well more than enough cooling or anyone who's looking to overclock. It performs just as good (if not better) than Corsairs own H100i, AND for half the space!

I have the i5 3570k with an MSI z77 mPower motherboard OC'd to 4.4ghz. After running Prime95 for an hour or two the highest I've seen my chip go is 72 degrees C on the HOTTEST core. That's just incredible. It idles around 30C depending on ambient temps. For me the ambients is usually around 70F.

I have mine mounted in push/pull. Though it should be noted that it does NOT come with an extra set of screws to do so. You can usually pick some up at a local hardware store or (in my circumstances) just use some HDD screws that were long enough :P Ghetto, but effective.

Fits great in my Rosewill Thor v2 and I'm beyond happy with it. Also, the pump can't be heard over my fans.

Installation is a bit awkward. Because the bracket for the back of the motherboard is just stuck on and it doesn't fit perfectly straight. But I already knew that when I purchased it.

Honestly, if you have a case that supports a 140mm fan and you don't want to have a super bulky air cooler and want to get great temps this pump is perfect.

Got this build with i5-3570k, Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H motherboard, full sized Corsair Vengeance memory, and NZXT Phantom 410 case. This cooler is large at 140mm so keep in mind that when you buy this and make sure your case has 140mm fan area. There are two 140mm on top for the NZXT and I set the radiator and fan nearest to the front.

Cooling performance is top notch. I am putting a mediocre 4GHz on this and it runs temps like it was on stock speed settings. The cooler is relatively quiet also compared to the H80i.

I like this thing. It has made my computer way quieter and really brought down temperatures. I didn't do any objective measurements, so look to other reviews for that, but I did want to chime in on one thing, and that's fit.

Make SURE this thing is going to fit on your case. That radiator is way bigger than it looks in pictures, and the tubes from it to the pump are pretty short. Also, you need way more clearance than you might realize to fit both the fan and the radiator. Pull out the old cloth measuring tape and check if it will fit. Because if it doesn't fit, you're going to either have to return it or buy a new case.

Second, make sure to think about the airflow in your case and how you want to install it before you go ahead and buy. There's a reason many cases have the exhaust fan near the top -- heat rises. Corsair recommends mounting this fan as an intake, but on many cases that can be problematic. The CPU location and tube length mandate that this fan be high up in the case. It would be tempting to mount this thing as an intake on the upper back of your case and make the lower case fans the exhaust. However, In my experience if you do this, you'll just wind up just bottling heat up in the middle of your case right near the GPU. Fortunately for me, my case had another exhaust fan option on the top, so I was able to keep this fan on the back as an intake and add an exhaust fan above it. But it really would be worth thinking about your intended fan setup before you just jump in.

A few last quick notes:
-I've found that the pump makes a really minor glug glug glug that for me slowly went away with use. With my case shut it is not audible.
-The fan that comes with it is a superstar.

So much quieter than my old air system that would constantly throttle the fan up when temps came up. Pretty good design that will fit any socket out there including the new 1150 which is the board I have.
I only docked a star because I had to modify my case in order for the unit to fit.

I was experiencing overheating issues with my computer with a typical heatsink, however this has solved all problems. It keeps everything cool even after hours of gaming. My only beef with this is the fan is annoying. It doesn't rattle or make any noises that indicates there is something wrong with it, it's just a loud fan. It's tolerable though, and once I put headphones on it drowns everything out.

I recommend just buying a new fan to replace the stock one. It's obvious Corsair put all attention to the cooling unit and added a cheaper fan. Specs on the fan:
140mm
35 DBA (fan noise)
1500 RPM

The fan I got to replace it is:
140mm
19 DBA
1200 RPM

So while I lose a bit of RPM's, I also gain some quietness, worth it in my eyes.

This is my first foray into water cooling. Within the past few years I've steadily seen Corsair pump out these closed loop water cooling kits which basically simplifies the water cooling game for most enthusiasts. I am very well versed in building computers but water cooling has been way over my head. It just seemed to be so complicated with so many different parts, so many different things that could go wrong.

Well, I'm glad that Corsair brought this kit to the market. I installed it into an Intel socket 2011 system, the motherboard to be exact is an ASUS P9X79-E WS with an Intel Core i7 3930k processor. First and foremost it comes with multiple back plates for your specific processor. For socket 2011 the back plate that is already installed on the motherboard will work fine, there's no need to remove and install a separate back plate. I can easily see the install being a tad bit more complicated should you have to install a different back plate so that the CPU cooling unit will mount properly.

Again this is my first water cooling unit and it took me about 15 minutes tops to get it installed.

I found a few videos on YouTube and a few websites that mentioned that you'd need another pair of hands but I found that I could easily install it without needing another set of hands.

I mounted the radiator first which was mounted in an Fractal Designs XL R2 case in the exhaust fan outlet. I then installed the CPU cooling unit and mounted it down into place with the provided thumb screws. You'll have to mount the CPU cooler unit like you would mount tires on a car. You have to go from top right, then bottom left, then top right and bottom left. So you are basically going in an X pattern when you tighten down the thumb screws.
