From the Manufacturer

The advanced design of the SP120 provides the higher static pressure that radiators and heatsinks demand, while maintaining a quiet noise profile. Seven ultra-wide, custom-molded blades deliver high static pressure, and the customized fan enclosure helps airflow move in the right direction. The rubber mounts and the advanced hydraulic bearing system combine high reliability with low-noise operation. Three included colored rings allow you to customize the look of the fan to match the rest of your hardware.

The wide body, low-pitch blades are custom-molded for high static pressure air delivery with low noise, while rubber corners reduce vibration and noise.

The fans worked great and seem to be very quiet even though they are the high performance SP model.

This fan is amazing. Have 5 of them in my case, 2 of the pwm version. Have the 2 running on a swiftech h220 radiator. They are very quiet. If you are on the fence about these fans, consider that they are very close in performance to the noctua nf-f12 which is widely considered the king of the radiator/cpu/case fan applications however they run around $22-25 per fan, where you can get 2x sp-120's which perform close at $27. They also look very cool.

These fans also perform equally in push or pull, or push pull where the noctua nf-f12's really perform best in only push. Highly recommend these fans to anyone needing a cpu cooling application, fans with a dust filter, or radiator application.

I ordered these to use on my heatsink (Hyper 212+) to keep my I7 extreme a bit cooler, and it worked great! I have it overclocked to 4.4 GHZ, and it is staying under 40 C while under heavy loads. I burned up 2 liquid coolers in 6 months, and went back to the old school cooling, and could not be happier. Great fans that run up to 2300 RPM, and really move heat out of your case.

I bought this pair fans because one of my Corsair's H100i fans started to fail and it was whirring horrible, so I had to replace it.

I have to admit I made a mistake and bought the AF120 Performance Edition Twin Pack for the CPU cooler because I tought "these fans moves a lot more air and airfow is great! and it does! But this type of fans are used to move air from inside your case to the outside, it wasn't meant to be used to pull air to a cooler's radiator because it lacks the power and static pressure, it doesn't have the required pins to be controlled (the cooler needs 4 pins to control the speed according to the cooler's controller) and also, the shape of these fans don't fit perfectly to the radiator and if you install them (like I did) there's a lot of air leakage ... ughhh! That's why I admit I'm an amateur PC builder.
Nonetheless, I used these great fans to replace my case's fans and bought the SP120 High Performance Edition Twin Pack

So what I learned is:
Use SP120 High Performance Edition Twin Pack for CPU COOLERS that have radiators.
Use AF120 Performance Edition Twin Pack to move air from your case to the outside.

I have a older H60 Corsair radiator cooler on a I7 3770k cpu. The stock fan that came with the radiator was not the best. I had been running a push pull configuration with a pair of quality Cougar 120mm fans on the radiator.

I saw a review for the air series from corsair and realized these fans were design to work best on a radiator. The static pressure for these at 3.1 is awesome. These fans are able to push a lot of air even while obstructed as intake and get the air through the radiator. The cougars are premium fans but I decided to swap the cougars with my old front tower fans (pitching the old whiny fans), and installing a pair of the SP120s on the radiator. The cougars were better suited as a Airflow fan while these corsairs are great as static pressure.

The build quality of the SP120 is very nice. Rubber grommets keep the fans silent by minimizing sound. Each fan has a nice colored ring to match your case, or you could even spray paint it black I suppose. Personally, I just kept the blue on to match my LED lighting. The 4 pin PWN means you can easily control fan speed with the sabertooth z77 motherboard, allowing total customization of airflow cooling.

Performance wise, I saw a drop of approximately 3 Celsius with a pair of these fans. The RPMs while gaming actually rarely go over 800, meaning these things are affective AND quiet. The drop in sound decibels is a blessing.

Overall a great air solution and one of the best value fans on the market based on my own research. Slap these fans on a radiator or in a Harddrive tray with obstructions... it will get the air where it needs to be! I am rapidly becoming a Corsair fan!

I bought thest fans as a upgrade for my corsair H100i. They are a good upgrade for me , I built my son a gaming rig and theses fans are good for mild overclocking. They are not as loud as some have stated. I am happy with them

I went from Silverstone Penetrator fans on my Corsair H80 radiator to these fans and my temps dropped 3 - 5 degrees Celsius during 100% load and dropped 5 - 7 Degrees Celsius during idle. They are a tad louder than my Silverstone fans, and they also have a very slight whine to them due to the decibel level. But if you are looking for fans that are meant for cooling, and accomplish this very well, buy these. If you are looking for quieter fans, you can adjust the RPM of these fans, or just grab the Quiet Edition fans from Corsair. Build Quality is top notch and they have rubber surrounding the screw holes, which is great for anti vibration. Not to mention the all black cabling and interchangeable color rings. Makes my red and black scheme look even better. You cannot go wrong with these fans. I don't know how they are for case intake/exhaust, but they are awesome for radiators. Probably will buy more to replace my case fans. A+++
