This is my first purchase of a Corsair product.
on March 23, 2014
I cannot comment on the performance, but the packaging is what I expect for the price. Eventually memory will come in a package that doesn't require clips and a firm press into the motherboard, but for what it is I like the product. I play DDO and have been beta testing ESO which both push the boundaries of 5 year old 4Gb RAM systems. Jumping to the 16Gb should guarantee that I'm not swapping to disk as much for a long time.
OK, after a few weeks, one of the modules appears to have died. Amazon replacement date has past, so I have to go through Corsair to RMA the module. Her'es the problem. Corsair requires you to send the entire set even if only one module is bad. Since that's the case, I have to buy another set or sit around with my system off until Corsair replaces the module. Additionally, I have to pay the shipping charges for their faulty memory. Now I am unhappy. This is reduces my original review by 1 star.
