I bought two sticks of this memory (2x4GB) and it has worked flawlessly. The stock heatsinks work great and look awesome on the mobo. I haven't tried to OC this RAM but I bet it would be a breeze. Works great with my Sandy Bridge build. I highly recommend!

This RAM is working fine as expected. Don't forget to change the rate in the motherboard BIOS, mine defaulted to 1333 MHz instead of 1600.

I just built a new system using these. Make sure when you're doing your research for parts, to get THIS set (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8) rather than the CL 9 set (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9)! Just a tad more, but worth it for the better speeds. As mentioned before me, also load the XMP profile or set up your timings/speed in your BIOS to get the full potential of this ram. If you're worried about the heat sinks being too tall, go with a sealed water cooling kit! The Corsair H70 or the Antec H2O 620 are both awesome... I have the latter of the two and it's wonderful (but that's another review). I also love that all 8192MB of memory is being seen, good stuff!

-Gigabyte Z68X-UD3P-B3
-i7 2600K @4GHz 1.044v
-8GB @ 1600MHz 8-8-8-24 1.5v
-EVGA GTX 570SC @ 797MHz 1950MHz
-OCZ SSD Vertex 3 (MAX IOPS ed.)
-Corsair HX750 PSU

Runs like a champion. Quite.

For the past couple of system builds I have used Kingston HyperX memory but for my new Intel P67 i7 2600K build the memory spec. is 1.5V and Kingston offerings are currently 1.65v at rated speeds which would either mean lowering the voltage for less performance or running voltages much higher than spec. and risking system damage. Doing a little research it seemed that 1600 Mhz CL8 memory was the price/performance sweet spot and Corsair is the only one I could find rated to run at 1.5v, most others were 1.6 or 1.65. This memory also comes in a CL9 version for slightly less.

Received the memory and plugged it into my ASRock Extreme4 board with i7 2600K processor. Changed the settings in the BIOS to the rated speed and timings and it booted without issue. Heat spreader is kind of tall but still fit with some clearance in the 2 and 4 slots with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus cooler. The 1 slot would be tight though for airflow and from what I understand some coolers need to be modified to fit.

I recently upgraded my gaming system. While I don't usually toy with settings in my computer and I like to use the settings as they are recognized to ensure stability, I decided to give it a try to my new system.

The low frequencies and voltages of this memory are great, allowing for great flexibility while trying to overclock your system.

This is a fast RAM, and while it is understood that RAM alone will not make your system better, it certainly helps. Corsair demonstrates that they know how to offer a good product for a competitive price.

I can recommend this RAM to anyone, from those wanting to squeeze more power from their system to everyday users who will just plug the memory on the respective slots and go with stock settings.

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory.

I managed to get the pair overclocked to 1500 + or - depending on your bios.
Great memory, no errors or skips. My fan keeps them below 105 Degrees and the water cooled cooler
keeps the 2.93 quad extreme overclocked to 3.75 at a low 109 degrees.
Don't try to max the memory out without the whole system halting, but it runs great at 1550 or less.

I have this in an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX and use an AMD FX-8150 cpu. Great memory even at stock. I use this system for everything, but primarily as my primary file server. I don't seem to be able to use more than 8gb, no matter what I do, so I stuck the other two in my server and it's running pretty smooth. I have never had a problem, ever with Corsair memory. Their Voyager memory sticks, aren't worth a darn and neither is their HX1000 p/s.
