Hi Patrick. Yes, this memory will work on your AAHD2-JY motherboard, but only if you are running a 64-bit operating system (Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 64-bit). You can check specs on your motherboard at http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&docname=c02966470 -- particularly scroll and click the section, "Memory Upgrade Information". Looking at the image of your mobo layout, you will see there are 2 memory slots (DIMMs), and the pair of 2 x 4 GB = 8 GB Corsair Vengeance DIMMs will work -- they are in the category listed as "PC3 12800 (1600 MHz)". If you are not sure whether your Windows system is 32-bit or 64-bit, you can go Start > Computer and select "System Properties" menu at top. You can also get the same screen/info by Start > Control Panel > System. In the middle of the screen, look for "System Type". As it says in the "Memory Upgrade Information" section of the website about your mobo, this memory will not work on 32-bit systems. If 32-bit, then the maximum is 2 x 2 GB = 4 GB. Hope this helps. :)

Yes it will, link here: http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/processors/a-series/Pages/a-series-model-number-comparison.aspx, top ram speed is 1866, just make sure the MB can also handle that ram.

Yes! As long as your motherboard support DDR3 240-pin it will work.. dont mind the mHz, and transfer rate. Make sure to put those in the same color slot (usually alternate pattern) to take advantage the dual channel ram

Yes, I believe it will work with your motherboard. I'm not a tech genius but I did look up your motherboard on the ASUS website and it said it was compatible with the following memory speeds and memory stick sizes: 4 x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR3 3000(O.C.)/2933(O.C.)/2800(O.C.)/2666(O.C.)/2600(O.C.)/2500(O.C.)/2400(O.C.)/2200(O.C.)/2133(O.C.)/2000(O.C.)/1866(O.C.)/1800(O.C.)/1600/1333 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory. It better if you got 2x8gb instead of the 2x4gb RAM since your motherboard can store up to 32gb. I also checked several other websites just to make sure the RAM would be compatible with your motherboard and they all say the same so it should work perfectly fine.

According to the specks on your Motherboard M4N68T-M V2: Memory 2 x DIMM, Max. 8GB, DDR3 1800(O.C.)/1600(O.C.)/1333/1066 Hz ECC, Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory. This RAM will work on your board as it's DDR3, hope this helps. Dual Channel Memory Architecture

I don't see why you couldn't remove it, however unless you just absolutely don't have room for it I would leave it in place. I need to ask if you are a heavy gamer or do you just use your PC for the every day things, because if you are a gamer then I would most definitely leave it in place.

Corsair is typically listed on Asus' verified vendors list. For this particular board (when I searched it I got an Asus board A85XM-A). According to the specs on their website, you can have up to two cards of DDR3 memory. This memory is DDR3 1600 Mhz, which is a speed that the board can process. The bottom line: yes http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/A85XMA/#specifications
