This review is from: Corsican Honor: 2 (Hardcover)
Wow! Heffernan's "Corsican Honor" is an exciting, tough story of crime, terrorism and espionage - mostly set in Marseilles and on the island of Corsica. You can't help but admire those ruthless, sentimental Corsican crimelords Meme and Antoine Pisani as they forge an odd but mutually beneficial alliance with the CIA. Even minor characters (Colette, the former "poule") are finely drawn with a real sense of pathos and place. This is a bloody, sexy, excellent and satisfying read - Corsican stiletto to the had of a read!
