4.0 out of 5 stars imported from Lebanon July 17, 2009

These brand is made in Lebanon, some say the Lebanese make the sweetest rose water. This product is Made from 100% distilled rose petals (ive seen some w/additives). Packaged in glass bottle. And of course you can use the product from baking to air freshener to perfume for the ladies.

If your comparing prices when all is said and done, you should not pay more than $1.25(USD)per ounce of rose water.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best rose water by far September 12, 2007
I've tried many brands of rose water, and this is far and away the best. The taste is full, and I end up using much less of it (saving money) than any other. I love to add it to iced tea... Yummy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Gourmet Aroma August 10, 2009
This is a wonderful product. The best rose water does come from Lebanon. This can last a long time, if you keep the bottle closed tight and keep it in a dark cupboard. I use a little of it in some sweets and people are always wondering what is that? :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the Skin December 13, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase
I have been using rose water for my cardamom rice pudding for years! But ALSO use it as a moisturizer for my skin for over 10 years now....I am 44 years old, but tend to have oily skin no matter what moisturizer I apply (and believe me, I have tried TONS over the years)....began using the rose water (applied with cotton ball) A.M and P.M - and love it!!!! Skin is soooo soft, without any oily side effects. My teenage daughter has started using it on her face, as well (and she loves it too!) This product will be in my spice cabinet and my bathroom cabinet for years to come!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Authentic Rose Water August 21, 2009
By Bee-Bee
This is a very good rosewater with a fresh, true rose scent. The scent of Cortas is a little brighter than the brand I previously used, but it's still a beautiful fragrance, and a great value for the price. I bought mine from MinosImports (through Amazon), shipping was very quick and the glass bottles were securely packaged in bubble wrap.

I use the rosewater to moisturize my hair...it calms my frizy hair and does a much better job of moisturizing than plain water. :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Baklava October 12, 2012
By Sparky

Great size for the occasional user who must have this for 'exotic' recipies like baklava (used Foodnetwork's Alton Brown recipie). About the same amount as a soda can, it should be more than sufficient for those once-in-awhile concoctions.

I buy mine from the local middle eastern store in NY and it costs me $1.59 for the 10 oz bottle. This is ridiculously overpriced. Just bought one yesterday to make some desserts and cookies. This brand, however, is much better than Ziyad brand in terms of quality and overall taste. That being said, I would never pay $4 for a 10 oz bottle. Even the 17 oz bottle is cheaper than $4 at my local store.
