About the Author
His nine subsequent published books (among them Los Despojos del Sol [The Spoils of the Sun], El Cielo en la Fuente [The Sky in the Fountain], La Enredadera del Júbilo [The Vine of Jubliance], and Los Surcos Inundados [The Flooded Furrows], which won the Premio Municipal) came out to critical acclaim and have become collectorsitems. In 1978 the poet rewrote Cortejo y Epinicio and brought it out in a limited edition in Buenos Aires. LOM has now published the long-awaited third edition of this classic.
