One thing to say about this phone, when it rings, it is LOUD! Did I say LOUD?!! I mean, really really loud!! So loud my cat ran freaked out and took off the first time she heard it ring. If you need a loud phone, this is it.

I bought it because it was red, and because I was looking for a handset like this old-fashioned one----the kind you can rest comfortably between your shoulder and chin. These new cordless phones you can't do that with, and some of them are so small now, they are making them to look like cellphones, and I hate that. I needed a phone I could hold with my neck while I typed and talked. This phone is great, it's just really freakin' LOUD!!!!!

Oh, and I also got it for the red color, like we have a direct link to the White House or something, hahahahah. I wanted the purple, but it cost a lot more and was cheaper made and I think had a different handset. But it WAS neat too.
