This telephone is reminiscent of old school style telephones. However nostalgic in appearance the quality is just not there. There is an annoying sound and sometimes so very distracting to the point that its hard to focus on the conversation. Oops, I guess its true what they say, you get what you pay for most of the time.

This is a basic phone with out a lot of extra gagets. If you have an answering machine and you just need a simple phone this is the one.

We were looking for a simple single-line office phone with no fancy features and this one fit the bill.

I moved my Grandmother back here and she was headstrong on having a desktop phone in her house. She has NO interest in the cordless type phone so I came here and purchased the Cortelco Desk phone which was very similar to her old phone. I love the feature that she can roll to increase or decrease the volume on the handset. She is very pleased with the phone and the price.

This phone is pure garbage. The hum on the handset overpowers the conversation. The hum is from the phone, not from any other device in the vicinity inducing interference.

I've been in the telecommunications industry for over 40 years - I know how and when phones work and I know when they don't!

Would rate negative stars if that was possible.

My wife and I bought this phone for her mother, who had destroyed several other phone's by knocking them off, dropping the reciever, she couldn't hear what was being said either. The volume control is easy for her to use and the phone is heavy enough to with stand being dropped by accident.

I gave a good review for this phone. But I realize this phone does not shield the static well compare to other phone. For the same phone line when I plug in to the phone jack near my kitchen area, only this phone had problem of bad echo and statics. When I switch to other phone it is fine. When I move this phone to other quiet location, static is gone. This phone must not have a good shield. Anyway, other than that limited static shield. Here is my old review. It's simple to use. It's has good sound quality. The plastic is solid. And color is very nice compare to the posted picture. It's has very nice touch when you dial. It is soft and feel nice. I enjoy this phone very much. You can not go wrong with ITT phone. But do not expect any feature. This phone works well with VoIP service.

This phone is very basic and that is exactly what I was looking for...a phone that is very good for its basic function, that being calling someone or receiving a phone call. The voice quality is outstanding and the phone is certainly easy to use. The phone feels a little flimsy on the exterior and I say that using older models that felt a little stronger and were a little heavier but the internal parts seem to be of equal quality of the older similar phones I have used. Very good value for basic features with excellent sound quality.

I run a phone bank and find desk phones to be the next best thing to headphones. I've purchased Cortelco desk phones in the past with great satisfaction. This model, however, is defective in that interference comes right through. AM stations, FM stations,static and echos. Interference filters cost nearly as much as the phones. I would suggest another model. I guess they are cheaper for a reason.

Purchased the phone for my 89 year old mother. I had purchased a phone locally about a month earlier for her - it was a phone with an answering machine and you could adjust the volumes of the rings and voice. She did not like it - too complex. I got her this one and she is happy. It is simple and easy to use - it meets her needs.
