This stuff is great. It is kept in my medicine chest permanently. Whether it is a rash, bug bite, exema - Whatever itches you - use this and always get instant relief.

I am highly reactive to mosquito bites and this product is the only one that gives me relief. I follow the directions to the letter, including washing the affected area with warm water, etc. Regular cortisone creams/gels like Cortaid and Cortizone take much longer to work and are much less effective for me. My pharmacist claims it is the menthol that does the trick. If you suffer greatly from mosquito bites, or other skin irritations, I highly recommend you give this a try.

I bought this to try to relieve the itching of insect bites. Actually, I bought a variety of productts not knowing which would work best.

This is the only one that's still in my medicine chest. I recommend it to all my friends.

I received a sample thru a survey panel,
living in a rural area with two young children & scads of biting insects, I tried CortiCool on bites.
Much to my amazement it worked great! No yelling, "OW, it stings" or "OW, it burns" from my "oh so sensitive" daughter. We've not encountered any poison ivy or oak as yet, but I'm sure it will take care of it if we do.
All I know is its the BEST I've come across FOR INSECT BITES ever.

I first tried this product a few years ago at my local Rite Aid store but since then, they no longer sell these locally so I did some Amazon research and was pleased to find this available on Amazon, and I have to tell you honestly this gel cools at the touch if you ever need a product that contains 1% Hydrocortisone for the occasional skin irritations and soothing creams don't seem to help, than try this.

Not all 1% Hydrocortisone product are the same, they may contain the same ingredient but are definitely manufactured differently and this to me, works better than many other brands I've tried in the past.

Highly recommended.

My eldest daughter is highly susceptible to poison ivy, and this is the ONLY product (I swear we have tried every OTC remedy over the years) that not only relieves the itching immediately, but does so for hours after applying. I only wish it was available in larger tubes, because when she gets it, it covers large areas. I can also attest to its cooling relief for mild psoriasis. My family counts this as a must have for our medicine cabinet!

I have been using corticool for years and it is the fastest acting commercial cortisone. It works better than most prescription cortisone creams that I have used. It is great for eczema, cold sores, insect bites, and inflamed white heads. I highly recommend it. It is very hard to find now in 'brick and mortar' stores so order it through Amazon.

this is a great product - even the most pesky rash or itch is helped by this gel. It is hard to find in stores. I am so glad I found it on Amazon.
