I purchased this stroller/carseat after considering more strollers than you could ever imagine. I researched Peg Perego and decided that I would be buying the name instead of quality....Peg Perego is SOOOO expensive and the product itself it not even as great as Chicco. Bugaboo, again- too expensive, but nice. The city mini was what I almost puchased, but for the exact same price, I got the AWESOME carseat....I love my Chicco so much. Its such a smooth ride, my son Loves it and its very easy to assemble, install the carseat...and it looks great too!

Love It!, January 24, 2010

Just got this stroller/carseat set as a gift from my mother for our soon-to-be baby...so I haven't used it with baby yet, but I already love it! The stroller seems so much nicer than other brands we looked at that were only a little less expensive. Stroller folds great, seems tough, and looks awesome. The carseat was pretty easy to install in my car even using the seatbelts in the middle rear seat (Mazda 6 - a mid-sized 4-door car) and I only had to move the front seats up a little from where I normally have them positioned (just can't have the front seats all the way back like I normally do). So far, I love this set! Can't wait to try it out with baby!
FYI - the color is actually brown and green, it doesn't appear that way in the pics though.

Fabulous product -- still using it at 18 months!, November 1, 2011

We registered for this item and then ended up buying it ourselves when it did not get purchased for us. My friend had researched safe and easy to use travel systems on consumer reports and had recommended this one to us. It did not disappoint. The stroller is very light and easy to maneuver. We love the car seat/base system; when my daughter was very little it was SO nice to be able to carry her into the house if she'd fallen asleep in the car. I also liked it for daycare drop-off and pick-up. I would transfer her in the seat to the stroller and push her in so that I could carry her diaper bag strapped to the handle of the stroller. The color is great for not looking dirty every five minutes and it's pretty, but gender-neutral. We have the "adventure" style). We traveled with the stroller as a plane-side check item several times and the only problem we had (and this was a fault of the airline, not the stroller) was that the little sun shade slipped off during handling and we did not notice until it was too late to find and retrieve it. The company replaced the item for a small fee. My daughter is very light -- 18 months and only 20 lbs. She's long, but all of her length is in her legs, so she actually still fits in this seat and her head does not clear the top of the seat by far. Because of the angle that the seat sits at in the car, this seat actually allows her more leg room than the convertible seat that we have not purchased for my husband's car. I love this seat and will definitely use it for our next baby! This is true for most car seats, but I do find it annoying to take the seat and its cover apart for washing. For our next baby, we will probably invest in one of those easy-to-remove covers that goes over the carseat itself.
