5.0 out of 5 stars Corvette GTP(book) Alex Gabbard- Awesome book!
I found this book by chance, I had not known it existed, When I purchased it, I was delighted and read about the very short history(sadly) but potential this Beautiful IMSA GTP Prototype Car had and could have had.
It's a Shame, But It shows that Corvettes and Corvette Engines, GM ,Chevrolet are true First Class Marques, If your A Racing Fan like me or a Corvette...

Perhaps I was expecting too much from this book but then again perhaps it was written for Corvette fans unfamiliar with the GTP car and the IMSA series. It's really nothing more than a picture book that spends as much time discussing the Corvette's competition in the IMSA series as it does the Corvette itself. I was expecting much deeper insight into the technical aspects of the car including design, development, construction, and lot more information about the engines. I also expected a lot more technical pictures of the car's construction and components. It's unfortunate the author only scratched the surface of such an interesting GTP car. I'll give the book a D+ at best.

Corvette GTP IMSA:
Anyone akin to the corvette and racing motorsports will find this book a bleesing. The book is filled with plenty of color photos as well as B/W. A development history as well as series racing teams are discussed. Then a list of surviving chassis, and current condition. All in all a great book the Corvette racing fan.
