Corvette! may seem like it's crippled in that it only features a single line of cars from a single manufacturer. Wrong. Lots of reviewers poo-pooed this title before even seeing it beased on that prejudice.

Corvette has loads and loads of years and models of the legendary GM sports car including track specials and you will not get tired based on variety. Each different model is listed along with fascintating info on how many were sold, what new features and engines etc... made it unique and historic tidbits which are as interesting as a visit to the Corvette National Museum. Which is pretty cool too BTW.

The tracks are varied and very colorful. The graphics are strictly Playstation 2 quality and may slightly dissappoint the hardcore XBOX fanatic but the gameplay is first rate and a blast. You will get to race over 80(!) models and each can be upgraded with real licensed part to make it even faster. You don't pick and choose upgrades ala Gran Turismo, you simply improve you car, but the fun on the track not in the garage.

Great variety and a good solid driving model make it a joy to play with or without a racing wheel controller. Developer Steel Monkeys should be proud to have made such good fun for a budget title. I enjoyed this and have gottenmore playing time out of it than Need For Speed : Underground or Midnight CLub II. XBOX Live! is inlcuded as well but there are only a couple of thousand folks playing this online so you will need to make friends and plan to get together to be assured of a match.

Along with Ford Racing 2 this should be on every hardcore racing enthusiast's list if onlybecuase the two of them together cost less than turkeys like NFSU.

This game is one of the best racin' games I have played! Sure the graphics aren't as good but graphics arn't evrything, you could have game with really good graphics but alls you do is stand there, gameplay is what matters to me! This also is a very good family game. My whole family loves this game (even my dad who normally hates video games, but not this one). My dad has 1972 'Vette and they actually have the color he has on his car (Steel Cities Gray), never have I raced a 'Vette that has that color. Just because it isn't a newest car dosen't mean it's a bad game. I like the older games like Pacman and Galaga. If you are a racing fan and you like 'Vettes buy this game! Here is an overveiw of the game.

Graphics- 7.5-10- good but not great for an XBox game
Gameplay- 10-10- Great gameplay
Controls- 10-10- Easy to remember!
Overall- 10-10- Great game!

This game also is cheap for a video game, at EB Games I bought it for $20 brand new! This game is really good for young racing and Vette fans! All you Vette fans, buy this game!

This game is not bad, but if you want a good, cheap racing game, the Mustang one's better. This one is kinda slow paced. I got it so I could race my favorite Corvette, the '82, and YES I know the '82 was slooow for real and it is sloooow in this game... but what a body it has! Anyway, don't pay over $10 for this, whatever you do.
