I am a big fan of Cory's. Her book is very motivating. You don't have to be a body builder to read this. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to get into shape.

Very practical book!,

This book has the right combinations of positive thinking, diet (including sample menus), and fitness, and how to incorporate them into everyday life. The photos of her and her sister Cameo are also very motivating! This complements her 'Lifebalance' book quite well, I think.

A Great Nutritional Guide,

This review is from: Cory Everson's Fat-Free and Fit (Paperback)
Not long ago I wrote an E-mail to a major women's bodybuilder on an Internet website who offered nutritional advice. I am glad my query was not answered since I found a much more economical way to receive the most updated information on healthy dieting along with plenty of accompanying information on exercise in Cory Everson's fine book. Cory's dieting tips come from the latest information from the Food and Drug Administration along with the top think tanks in the health field worldwide. As for her exercise tips, I found the weight training information highly valuable since I am into that form of activity. She stresses a practical approach to both dieting and exercise, and the tips are beneficial to anyone concerned about staying fit at whatever age or level of activity, from the professional athlete to people exercising to maintain good health. I liked the fact that Cory's book was devoid of the kind of radical, pie in the sky, results promised instantly approach to diet taken by some authors in recent years. The accent remains on the practical at all stages. Cory tells her readers frankly that results will come only when motivated people are willing to exert effort to help themselves by following sensible approaches.Cory Everson is one of the great female athletes of her generation. She is also an excellent author dispensing practical information that, if followed, can only serve to benefit people. William Hare

This book isn't about how to become a body builder but rather how to live a balanced life that includes exercise and healthy balanced diet. I really enjoyed this book and applied many tips to my own life and have lost weight. She is such a inspiration to me.

I hate to give a mediocre grade to the work of someone I liked, but... Cory Everson is/was one of the most awesome women that ever lived; she won more Ms. Olympia trophies for physical perfection in a female than anyone else. An acknowledged athelete in college, she was formidable in any endeavor she entered into. Her TV show was both informative for physical training and entertaining for the discerning male viewer if you liked "hard body" women. The book was purchased in the hope that it was either going to be a fantastic illustrated diet cookbook or a poor cookbook with an excess of photos of the author; I could accept either one. There are no galleries of photos of the awesome ms. Everson nor is the cookbook and workout section printed on quality paper, in sixteen or even four colors. It is difficult to use a book, day in day out, that is cheaply printed like this one.

Very disappointed!!!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Cory Everson's Fat-Free and Fit (Paperback)
I got this book from the library. The more I looked through it the more disappointed I was. This seems more like a porno book than a book on exercise. I was totally disguisted with the revealing/distasteful pictures of Cory Everson and also the male model that posed with her. I will never pick up a book by her again. I want to know how to get fit, but having to look at porn pictures while doing it is not worth it!!!
