Juan Gabriel's own version of an excellent Boleros album !,

This album is similar to Rocio Durcal's album "canta lo Romantico de Juan Gabriel" recorded and produced simultaneously in 1982. It is a beautiful attempt to bring the Boleros to those that did not experience the poetic and idealized lyrics of the 40's and 50's. This album was produced by Juan Gabriel in conjunction with B. "Chamin" Correa who has currently worked on Luis Miguel's Bolero projects. Unlike Luis Miguel's production of old covers, Juan Gabriel includes new songs never released. As with any Juan Gabriel production, it has won multiple awards in Mexico, Central and South America, making it a worth while album.
