This stool is perfect and more than I'd hoped for. Two bits of information that might be helpful. The 3rd step is 29 3/4 inches high. The 2nd step is 20 inches high. I could not find this information before buying. As it turned out, these heights were perfect. The yellow tool and bucket tray is fantastic and the top hand rail can be a life saver. It is lighter and easier to fold and unfold than I'd expected - and what a space saver. Excellent product!!!

I am a chicken when it comes to heights, but this step ladder's large steps/platforms (largest of ANY Cosco makes by the way) is the best step ladder around. And the tray, tool holder and papertowel rack work very well. Everyone wants to use my step stool now - in fact I just bought a second one for work use. I like it that well. Worth every penny, and the safest and most comfortable step stool around. It is a bit on the heavy side for me (a lady) to carry any distance, but I can carry it with both hands. I still know this is the best product and worth the cost.

We have a huge, heavy, telescoping ladder for climbing on the roof and whatnot but I needed a little stepstool around the house for everyday climbing needs. I had every intention of purchasing just a small, simple two-step number until I saw this Cosco ladder. It rocks!! It is extremely simple to fold and unfold - there are no secret latches and weird locking mechanisms that you need to learn first. This stepstool has wide, grippy steps and is lightweight enough for me to carry under one arm around the house.

One thing to note is that there is a maximum weight limit on it of 225 pounds. I didn't see that anywhere in the description of this item before I bought it, so bear that in mind if it is applicable to you.

I am a large woman who has fallen off two other step stools due to my size and also the poor design(peg like legs). This one is rugged, sturdy, yet light enough for anyone to carry around. The steps have ridges on them so there's no slipping. You have to feel safe in order to be safe. This is definetly designed for safety with the big steps and large handle at the top to hold on to. The big tray at the top is also another feature that is very handy. It will easily hold a bucket of paint and other supplies. Great for indoors or outdoors. An excellent product!!!

Really wide & deep steps, large work shelf with drawer ,and even a paper towel holder. Tray/drawer are plastic, but they work fine. It's easy to fold-up and light enough to move easily.

This ladder is great. It opens and closes very easily. It is also very slim when closed, something I was not able to find out before I bought it, but am very happy with now that I do have it.

We have 5 or 6 of these and use them in service vans. The techs love them. They are well balanced for hauling around with one hand, they are very stable when in use, and have a large work platform for tools.

Buy it!! Perfect size. Larger steps make for comfort when working/painting. Tool holes on grip handles a must for all future ladders. Combined, simply makes a better mouse trap "ladder". The painter I hired plans to buy three for his business.

The third step is 29 3/4 inches high, important to know. The item was delivered the day after I ordered it online, amazingly fast service. The wide steps make the ladder feel more secure than others.

This ladder is just as stable and supportive as it appears to be in the picture. Great for all kinds of jobs! Has a number of holes to put screwdrivers in, which comes in really handy.

Definitely a good purchase.
