My two girls are growing out of the graco car seats. I ordered two cosco deluxe car seats for them as a upgrade. I plan to put the two old car seats in my car as a backup.
Upon receiving the car seats, I was very disappointed. It is significantly lighter than the two smaller graco car seats. The padding in the sitting area and arm rest is very thin. Padding in the back area is even thinner. The car seat is designed with cost saving in mind. The latch belt is also a pain to tighten. It is extremely difficult to pull the belt when it is close to being tightened. I have to use both hands and sweat a lot. After it is installed, the seat moves a little if I pull it sideways. There is no sign that something is broken. It is a defective design. I read the manual before I installed the car seat. I knew what I was doing. Installing the graco seat is a breeze and it does not move sideways. I am going to return both car seats back to amazon. update on 09/15/2010: This cosco high back car seat has a shipping weight of 11.5 lbs. While Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat has a shipping weight of 21 lbs. Don't waste your money on this cosco car seat. You kids deserve something better. I shipped both car seats back to amazon. Once I got full refund from amazon, I will buy two Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seats. |
