I've purchased two of these booster seats in the past 6 months. I have purchased two because the first worked so well. As an inexpensive 'back up' seat, it can't be beat. Lightweight; it's easy to move between vehicles. For trips longer than 45 minutes, I'd recommend another booster with more padding, but for quick trips this booster is fantastic.

Product arrived in 24 hours, was as described, price was quite reasonable. The fabric can be removed and washed which is great as there was a chocolate thing going on the first day she used it. I like the safety and our little Princess loves the cup holder.

I keep this on hand in case I need an extra. The padding is very thin, so it's not so very comfortable. I'd only use on short rides. But serves its purpose well.

We don't own a car but take a lot of car service. This is portable and keeps my 21 month old from squirming all over the place. She loves sitting in it. I also bought Safe Fit Seat Belt Adjuster (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000OR5JBE/ref=oss_product) to keep the seat belt from digging into her.

It says it is good for 30 lbs +. My daughter is 3 and 1/2 and about 35 lbs and there is no way that she can use this seat in my car. The seat belt fits right across her neck. Maybe in a compact car? I will keep until she gets bigger. Thought I could use it as a back up for when I travel in other cars so I don't have to unhook the whole 5 point harness car seat. Maybe in about a year or two. Otherwise it seems like a decent product.

Not for children that are too active,

The seat is just fine and does exactly what it's supposed to do. The one downside of this is that your child may be big enough to use this seat, but if the kid's too active or doesn't like the seatbelt for whatever reason, he can easily get out of it. If you don't want to be turning back every 30 seconds to see if your child still has his seatbelt on or if you don't trust them yet not to try and "free" themselves (especially when they're upset about something and will do the exact thing to make you angry), you should better stick with seats for smaller kids with the belts that they can't get out of so easily.
Other than that the seat is comfortable and it's much easier and faster to have your child seated in the car, especially in cold weather when they have their coat on and become much clumsier... We use it for our 2.5 year old daughter, she may be a little taller for her age, her weight is average and the belt is positioned just right; NOT across her neck.

This seat is a good buy for the money. Just right for short trips. The cup holders flip up so you can fit three of them across a bench seat. Great idea.

I thought my days of car seats were over, since my daughter is 11. I have been helping out my friends by watching their kids occasionally. I quickly found the need to have my own car seats instead of constantly remembering to get theirs and all the hassle that comes from removing standard car seats. I purchased one, but found that I needed at least one more. I happened upon this item on sale at k-mart at a buy one get one free price. I bought two more, the only complaint it that it is a tight squeeze the fit all three in the backseat of my Lexus sedan, but I am able to do it. These seats remove easily and store nicely in the trunk or a closet when not needed. As a former paramedic, I realize the importance of securing even larger children and more states are requiring boosters for bigger children. If you feel that your 5 or 6 year old is too big for for their old car seat, I would suggest ordering one of these. They are cheap, and could help save your child's life from a seatbelt injury. |
