Cosmelan 2 should be applied to skin 3 times per day during the first week; 2 times per day during the second week; and once per day after the third week. Do not use in conjunction with products containing glycolic acid. Cosmelan 2 is pricey but very effective in reducing pigments in very short time.First-time users should be warned that it creates irritation and redness with slight peeling of the skin,but the final results is good as the skin becomes very smooth and its texture and tone much improved. The irritation can be reduced by using Mesoestetic Hydra-Vital Factor K.

I've bought this product before from my dermatologist and the one I got from Amazon is nothing like it. The appearance was totally different, both colour and texture differed from the Cosmelan 2 I used before. What is worse is that the effect was the opposite, instead of disappearing the spots, it gave me more. I compared the labels and the only difference is that they're made by different laboratories. When I tried the Amazon product for the first time my face was really itchy and I couldn't resist it, and so I wasn't able to use it again. With the other product this didn't happen. I lost the money and the effects were very serious. I've bought Cosmelan 2 again from my dermatologist and I confirmed the cream is definitely not the same.
