Elegant in the simplicity of its application and balance. From the symbiotic relationship of the yin/yang to the scholarly dedication to the principles of TCM, this work is done right. For a subject that can easily "numb" a reader when poorly formatted this book employs an even-handed approach that engages the reader as if the author were present. The essence of delivering any discipline coherently without drift, or paling is an authors skill I have always admired. My initial forays into the deep waters of acupuncture study would have been more easily navigable had this been my primer. The specific of cosmetic theme seems woven artfully and seamlessly in the tapestry of acupunctures holistic cloth. The compact architecture is further evidence of the elegance of presentation.
