To begin with, the book is beautifully produced, on quality paper; slightly oversized, accomodating the nature of the material covered, including its various helpful charts. There is a comprehensive, very nicely illustrated, materia medica - to my mind, the core of the book. Here's the Table of Contents:The Cosmos of Cosmetics - Overview of the range of natural beauty aids from all over the world; the active principles of the different parts of the plants and their cosmetic use. A Practical Guide to the Plants and Their Use - Alphabetical list of cosmetic plants and their use.
