5.0 out of 5 stars The book Cosmic Conflict never more pertinent, June 17, 2009
This review is from: Cosmic Conflict: Good and Evil Wage War for Planet Earth (Paperback)
First reading this book about thirty years ago, I was impressed by its spiritual depth of understanding and by its expressed views on earth's future prospects.

No, the book's themes are not for the faint of heart; but, as you have certainly noticed, the world's current circumstances are proving not to be for the faint-hearted either - plus, most of us have progeny to be concerned about "going forward," as the politicians are fond of saying.

Now I know there are those who don't believe that there are such things as good and evil, and I have no answer for you other than that I hope this mindset helps you manage your lives well and enables you to deal with the curve-balls that life inevitably throws each of us at some point.

But if it's time in your life to gain a different perspective on what's going on in our modern world on a deeper level than TV news or radio can possibly give you, please try Cosmic Conflict by Ellen G. White.

The book's statements on the future of America are definitely more than worth the excessively modest price given here along with predictions on religious and societal issues - some of which have come to pass and some now pending.

In fact, my first reading years ago made me wonder 'how in the world' certain outcomes could possibly come to pass. Well, since the New Millennium (in particular), the 'how in the world' has become all too clear, and much of it is in the news each day for those with ears to hear.

Now in spite of Cosmic Conflict's marked-down price, this is not an antiquated book - for when does humankind's future direction, the world's complexities, and the results of how we treat one another - ever go out of style?
