While in their first book the authors Starsky and Cox described separately women and men through their astrological sign's nature and their ever so relevant sexual behavior; in "Cosmic Coupling" they have decided to finally connect the dots and - as the glamorous cosmic matchmakers they are- immerse themselves in the laborious journey of signs interacting (and exchanging fluids). Not a single juicy detail will be left aside here, and the book gets more interesting and fun to read because of all this "in depth" information. You will be astounded by the accurate depiction of your friends relationships dynamics,- in and out the bed -, and you'll search avidly for your own best match .
If its predecessor "Sextrology" was labeled the "red bible" by cosmic followers, this is bound to become the astrological rosetta stone guiding heterosexual, gay and lesbian individuals of every sign through all the flirting possibilities the universe brings them.

This book is my new Bible and I literally consult this before dating anyone! You may laugh but I read through every relationship I ever had and every one of them was DEAD on! I only wish I read this before my marriage, I would have saved myself A LOT of heartache!

I'm a little disappointed by the brevity of each relationship...whether it's Virgo man and Sagittarius female or Virgo man and Cancer man. It's only a couple of pages or so for each relationship. Unlike the first book that the writers wrote ("Sextrology: the Astrology of Sex and the Sexes"), this is too much into sex - like hardcore sex. Not every relationship or every individual can relate to the handcuffs, tying up, and having intercourse in a dark alley! "Sextrology," their first book, included the Mind of each Sign within each gender, then it included Body and Soul, and I think the Sex section. In addition, the "Sextrology" book had lengthy, in-depth analysis of each character - of each gender of the signs. This one, "Cosmic Coupling" has little information. You understood the life lessons of that sign's gender in "Sextrology." Unfortunately, "Cosmic Coupling" does not teach the life lessons in the relationships. As a reader, I'm interested in knowing why certain things could or could not work out in the relationships. It's not specific enough as to life circumstances with each sign and what each sign could learn from each other. I think it's a cheap job. However, I have hope for the writers that they can turn around. They showed in their "Sextrology" that they can create excellent and insightful literature. They have showed their potential. So I give this two stars.

If you don't believe in Astrology, you will by the end of reading this. You have an Ex. It will explain why it didn't work out. It'll make you wise up to how to deal with your current relationship. It's that spot on. Give it a chance.

The wry wit and intelligence of this book make it a great read. You won't be able to resist cross-referencing the important relationships in your life, as well as those of the couples (or about to be couples) around you. A great gift book for singles or marrieds, gays or straights. You'll find the references 'spot on' and will be entertained each time you open it up.

I so completely enjoyed the previous book, "The Astrology of Sex and the Sexes", and when I discovered that the second book was out I just had to have it.
Starsky and Cox seem to have rushed through "Cosmic Coupling" and it turned out to be a bit second rate. I thought there would be more than just a page or two devoted to couples. The first book was phenomenally good and I'd hoped the second would be too. I'll be taking this one to the used book store for credit.

For anyone who sets any store by astrology.The couple that wrote this seem hip and intelligent and have unique viewpoints on the different astrological signs and how they relate to each other in relationships.

Although everyone may not agree with some of the assessments, this book is full of great laughs. I love it cause it analyzes the zodiac symbols even further than most. Split up by sex and sexual preference as well. Keep it on my coffee table for visitors to look themselves up.

As a person who has never taken astrology very seriously, and frankly isn't interested in all the esoteric details, I found this book really useful because it gets right to the point of what most of us go to astrology for: how compatible am I with another person. So far I've had one opportunity to put it to the test and I found Starsky and Cox to be about 95% accurate in their assessment of the coupling at hand, which is pretty impressive. But the coupling described didn't just tell me stuff I already knew. It gave me new insights and couple's conversation starters that have proved to be useful with my partner. Illustrations or photos would have made it even better.

I am not an expert on astrology but I absolutely loved Sextrology by the same authors. Cosmic coupling is just as good a book, my friends and I consult it all the time when we start dating a new guy or break up with someone. It almost always makes sense as to why some couples work and others don't but it also offers tips on how to understand the person you are dating, it can make their habits a little less annoying. Overall it's a fun book with helpful information for everyone!
