I don't have an in-depth background in astrology or the analysis of my own astrological chart but this book was perfect for me. It is extremely well-written and easy to understand, and profound in its insight. I enjoyed it immensely and learned a great deal about my destiny and place in the universal scheme of things!

The simple looking cover and the simple way the concepts are presented lead you to believe the concepts are going to be simple such as you would find in a book like "An Idiot's Guide to Astrology". You know the kind of books I mean; the ones that spell out the most basic and elementary concepts for beginners. But nothing could be further from the truth. The concepts are eye-opening and valuable. They are especially valuable to people who are completely serious about the study of astrology and crave this kind of information. I have about 12 astrology books that are my most valuable resource books. These are the books I always open when I'm working on a chart. I call this my toolbox and I have added this book to my toolbox. From now on I will look at the position of a person's 12th house cusp as a key component of chart interpretation since it shows the actions you have to take in order to solve the dilema of the rest of the chart. In my own life it has been the Golden Key. Bravo Marguerite, many thanks and I look forward to seeing your next book!

I found this book oversimplified. To be fair the meaning of a house or sign position of a planet has to be interpreted in the context of the chart as a whole. But I put this book aside and recycled it after reading a bit. For a spiritual read on astrology see Astrology A Cosmic Science by Isabel Hickey. For a description of Karma go to the source. The Buddha originated the concept as intentional action and its fruits, as reported in the Pali Sutra's. see the Middle Length Discourses of the Buddha: Discourse 135 and 136.
