5.0 out of 5 stars Manifestation light
This book is very light hearted. It has very little technique, and her storytelling method is more designed to get the reader into a good state for manifesting, than to satisfy left brain cravings for detail. Heavy state manifesting technique doesn't work. Real manifesting is very simple, almost out of consciousness, feeling the intent- i.e. the desired state already...

2.0 out of 5 stars Order something else
This book seeks to amplify the author's earlier effort, the Cosmic Ordering Service. It finally acknowledges that there is a bit more to manifestation than merely sending a request out to the universe. There is at least a requirement of desire, expectation and belief fueled by a relaxed mental state. The author does, to some extent, concede that negative or strong...

This book is very light hearted. It has very little technique, and her storytelling method is more designed to get the reader into a good state for manifesting, than to satisfy left brain cravings for detail. Heavy state manifesting technique doesn't work. Real manifesting is very simple, almost out of consciousness, feeling the intent- i.e. the desired state already real- and letting it go, and then being thankful when it comes. I enjoyed this book, as I enjoyed her previous book, it was worth what I paid for it. If manifesting could be done from the conscious mind, the Beta state, well we'd all be living in a Paradise. The critics seem to want just that. It doesn't work that way. I recently manifested 2 bows, for free, for a friend of mine, and the actual process was less than 5 seconds, and I was in the state that Frau Mohr leads one into. Yes, dear critics, all I did was put it out to the Universe, just like she says. This book is a nice antidote to the heavy, formulaic Law of Attraction books out there. Law of Attraction has problems, one is the inherent suggestion that you don't already have it. I did "the list" Barbel describes to attract my current wife- she has everything I had on my list, and I match her list, and I know others who have done the same thing. While the critics are gnashing their teeth, those of us in the light, joyful state Frau Mohr describes are having fun. That's another thing, this woman has got to be having a lot of fun, in life. I also like the manifesting method in ThetaHealing, which is done from the same place, and I have gotten results. To the critics, I say, if you don't like your current state, well, lighten up...

This book seeks to amplify the author's earlier effort, the Cosmic Ordering Service. It finally acknowledges that there is a bit more to manifestation than merely sending a request out to the universe. There is at least a requirement of desire, expectation and belief fueled by a relaxed mental state. The author does, to some extent, concede that negative or strong emotion interfere with the process. She clutters this clumsily written book with lengthy and uninteresting anecdotes from people she knows and plugs for her friends, including a bretharian (someone who supposedly lives on air and prana), a reverse speech expert and a poet/musician. She also shares revelations at some therapy session she attended that are neither interesting nor helpful. One chapter is pretty much an excerpt of a book authored by her pals.

In this age of The Secret, there are many, many superior offerings in this field. Try the Secret, any of the Abraham-Hicks materials, the dynamic Laws of Prosperity by Catherine Ponder, Excuse Me Your Life is Waiting by Lynn Grabhorn or the Attractor Factor by Joe Vitale. They are all far more accessible than this paltry offering.

Barbel has done a good job here, compared to her first little book (Bestellungen beim Universum)this book is more structured and gives the necessary details how to manifest your desires.
