So disappointed!,
By
This review is from: Cosmic Ordering: How to Make Your Dreams Come True (Paperback)
I am a huge fan of Jonathan Cainer's Internet horoscopes -- both written and audio, so I am crushed by the repetitiveness, vagueness and ineloquence of this book. I hope that other readers will post reviews that contradict me and show me where the book is inspiring and useful.
I suspect that some of the wisdom IS actually revolutionary and much needed, but the tedious format makes it very, very hard to cull!

Non the wiser!,

I was really looking forward to finding out about cosmic ordering. The book cover promises to show you "how to make your dreams come true".It fails miserably to live up to that promise.the author waffles on and on at the same thing all through the book. After readingall 159 pages of it I'm still non the wiser and i know virtually nothing about cosmic ordering.Don't waste your time and money on this.Like me,look for a different book on this subject.

I was really looking forward to this book but what a snoozer. Very ho hum and written in the "I'm your guardian angel" format. Is this a channelled book? It says no where in the book that it is. It was just something that helped me to fall asleep while reading in bed. Not horrible, just "ok".

Irrational!,

Here, at last, I thought was a book that offered some practical suggestions for manifesting. What did I find? I found that you place a wish by talking to a guardian angel, and then eventually I discovered that the author revealed that in fact I was talking to myself! From my notes I made while reading this I quote: "I think I may now need treatment for depression and anxiety disorder after reading this!".

Not too convincing,
This review is from: Cosmic Ordering: How to Make Your Dreams Come True (Paperback)
One of the least convincing of cosmic ordering authors is Cainer, although you can never completely ignore what he writes as he already has one foot in the door with his astrology connection. Maybe a little farfetched with his take up on the subject, yet you feel compelled to want to read what he says about it, and when you do then this is when you start to deconstruct with an air of skepticism what he extols. It failed to continue with the momentum it started off with. Still worthy of a three star review simply because it's a Cainer book.

A simple and accessible guide to manifesting,
By Jeane S (Chicago, IL United States) - See all my reviews

In response to the negative reviews others have written here, I say au contraire. I find this an excellent little book on the subject of manifesting. There are many, many other books out there that posit complicated theories about the mechanics of manifestation, but this book encapsulates and simplifies the "how" of accessing help from higher realms--a.k.a. a higher part of oneself--in getting what one needs to move forward. I can testify that this formula has indeed worked miracles for people (myself included) who felt temporarily lost and confused, and sometimes forlorn, about the turn their lives and fortunes had taken. It offers hope for a better future, and hope goes a long way in times of trouble. All it asks in return is a temporary suspension of disbelief and a little leap in faith.

Surprised and Delighted!,
By Eclectic Reader (Colorado, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Cosmic Ordering: How to Make Your Dreams Come True (Paperback)
Like other reviewers, I expected something of a "cosmic ordering recipe" book. What I found instead was a guide to relating effectively with my guardian angel. Also included is commonsense advice about discovering one's true wants (vs. cravings of the moment--be careful what you ask for), prioritizing desires, etc. I don't usually get into angel-related books, but I'm really delighted this turned out to be one, and I'm more comfortable with the idea of relating to my personal angel than ever before. Thanks, Mr. Cainer!

It's all here if you choose to find it!,
This review is from: Cosmic Ordering: How to Make Your Dreams Come True (Paperback)
It takes awhile to get into this deceptive book. However, Jonathan is trying to introduce you to your guide. If you are reading just to get the one, two, three of how to do this, you are going to miss it. Jonathan's style is seemingly wandering at times, yet it is anything but! Read every word carefully with thought and it delivers unique, in-depth knowledge for personal ordering and also applies the technique toward helping the peoples of the world to live a higher quality of life. Well worth your dime and time!
