This is only the second novel I've read by Mrs. Robyn Amos...and I DEFINITELY enjoyed the ride....she crafts a SENSUAL, romantic treat...with an INTRIGUING storyline...an ENTERTAINING cast of characters...I enjoyed the HEATED verbal sparring between Lincoln and Shelly...and I couldn't help but LOL at the many comical hair salon catastrophes Shelly had to endure...I was CAUGHT UP in the informative/descriptive tidbits provided throughout about the mysteries of NASA and space...and I was on the edge of my seat to discover who was out to sabotage their mission...a quick and charming COSMIC treat!

I LIKED THIS BOOK WOULD RECCOMEND IT. IT WAS DIFFERENT FROM THE ROMANCE BOOKS I USUALLY READ, STORY WISE THAT IS. WITH THE STORY BEING REVOLVED AROUND THE SPACE PROGRAM, IT WAS AN INTERESTING READ.

FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE..................BLAST OFF. That is what happen between Linc & Shelly.

Shelly London has wanted to be an astronaut since she was attend Space Camp at the age of 16 yrs old. Shelly has applied to the astronaut program three time and each time has been denied. Now as a aerospace engineer Shelly has been given the opportunity to re-located for a top secret space project.

Lincoln Lightening Ripley is one of the best astronaut and has been label a hero, has been on the cover of Time, People. Lincoln is nick name is Lightening because he is fast as lightening and Shelly find out how fast.

For Linc & Shelly from the beginning they are butting head and as for Linc when he find out that she tried to get him kick off of the project Linc was not happy and confronting Shelly only made him made. For Shelly she sees this has her last opportunity to make it into the astronaut program so for Shelly nothing and no one will be getting in her way. So when Linc fell to show up for her training Shelly took that sign to be Linc was not serious about the program, Linc has a reason or so he thought that she would accept but she didn't.

Linc also find time to ask question about Shelly to see if she is qualify to instruct. I tell in the beginning they go back & forth but in they soon realize that they are attracted to each other but don't rush to be together. Shelly first have to deal with and understand why she is being so hard on Linc when she doesn't know anything about him, but only what was in the paper. Talking to her sister she realize that what her sister was saying to her was making sense.

Shelly sister question her as to why was she so upset with Linc and thought maybe she was jealous because he is a top notch astronaut and he is where she want to be.

Linc is know as smart, confident and a playa, who can get any woman he want so when he go head to head with Shelly she throws him for a loop. When Linc is finally see Shelly in another light and get to know her he realize that he can be himselt.

There are some problem Shelly doesn't think that should see each other while they work together, but you will see that Linc is pretty hard to forget and Shelly will find that out the hard way.

Don't want to give to much away, but you will really enjoy the book.
