Fact or fiction? The fact is this is entertaining fiction...,
By
This review is from: Cosmic Voyage: True Evidence of Extraterrestrials Visiting Earth (Paperback)
In 1996 a book called "Psychic Warrior", by David Morehouse, was published. This book exposed an alleged program within the CIA called "Stargate". The purpose of this program was to use psychics as spies via remote viewing, an ability where an individual travels across the barriers of time and space with their mind and gathers information. The story was startling, memorable, and quite believable as well.In "Cosmic Voyage" Courtney Brown attempts to use his own remote viewing abilities to expose startling secrets and solve age-old mysteries, ranging from the origins of man on Earth, to speaking with Jesus Christ himself, to revealing the Secret of Life! Of course, there are plenty of alien tidbits in between. These alien tidbits are what made me read this book in the first place, and they are probably the most believable part of this book. I have studied the alien abduction phenomenon for many years and read almost every book on the subject. The amazing thing about this phenomenon is that many of the books on the subject draw striking similarities with each other, almost like a puzzle; Cosmic Voyage seems to fill in some of the missing pieces. While it is certainly entertaining to think that Brown might be using actual psychic abilities and that the revelations in this book are true, there is no proof whatsoever to show that the author didn't just use the less-than-mystical abilities of plagiarism and imagination to fill the pages of this book. It is the aforementioned "Psychic Warrior" novel that gives me a glimmer of hope that this book might actually be true, at least in some parts. Whether this book is actually true or not doesn't keep it from being an enjoyable read. It is a welcome relief from the all-too-standard alien abduction cases that reveal no information at all about the aliens themselves aside from vague physical descriptions. If this book is indeed fiction, Brown certainly thought up some very creative vignettes that make the reader think a little (I especially like his take on Mars - very smart, which makes it very believable). Much like a doctor or police officer will enjoy a respective medical or crime drama, a ufologist will find "Cosmic Voyage" a breath of fresh air. It is a refreshing break from the same-old same-old, and it may even provide a new sense of inspiration. I look forward to reading Brown's sequel to this book. Highly recommended.

An Outstanding Book!,

I just finished reading this book. Dr. Brown is an ex-NSA Remote Viewer. He was engaged on a project to study the "so called" Gray Aliens. This was conducted over a 2 - 3 year period. He studied their history, motives, technology and other attributes. All test sequences were "BLIND" with only one or two front loaded. Interesting and very worthwhile. The only data published was the ones that were verified by other sources. It was easy and a fast read. Highly enjoyable and thought provoking. It certainly gives one a unique insight concerning aliens and ufos. I think this guy is right and this is the best book out there to actually make the issues about ufo's understandable and reasonable. This is a worthwhile purchase. I highly recommend it.

This book, if you read it with an open mind and give it a chance, answers an awful lot of questions about man, his place in the universe, how God fits in, and how UFO's and other species fit into the overall scheme of things. I read it slowly and several times, and the thing is, it makes sense, it actually does tie everything together. I believe in Dr. Brown's methods, and I absolutely belive in SRV. Unless he is being deceived in a great way, this may answer many, many questions that I and people like me have been asking for a very long time. Time will eventually tell, and I know that Dr. Brown recently has been under critism for the Hale-Bopp controvery, which by the way, he is unjustly and mistakenly critisized for. I guess we'll wait and see, his findings do corrulate in ways with Robert Monroe's findings, among others. Give the book a chance, read it through and them make up your mind.

VERY Interesting ...,

__Having investigated the concept of Remote Viewing for some time now, I have come to the conclusion that there is a 95% probability that it is a legitimate method of procuring accurate information. As the book states, it is repeatable. I myself have bought the Mindazzle kit and have confirmed (to a lesser degree) the fact that accurate information is obtainable about something which cannot be seen otherwise.__The information presented in this book is fairly consistent with info from other sources (I do not consider channeling to be a source - it is not trustworthy at all). But, it goes far beyond other info in its scope. Perhaps the only drawback to the book is that it covers huge topics and doesn't spend enough effort to cover them in-depth (the book is 396 pages, so this should tell you something). He takes on subjects that other R.V.'s won't talk about. __Let us assume for the sake of argument that R.V. is legitimate and that Mr. Brown is providing accurate info in this book. Humanity is about to experience more things to 'wake us up', on top of the wtc tragedy. Further, there is a huge need for individuals to obtain the abilities displayed here so that we, as earth humans, can make a much needed transition to galactic citizenship in a structured and controlled manner. __This book is the most interesting and enthralling book I've read this year (and that includes many, many books). I recommend it wholeheartedly to all who are not stuck in the unconcious universe paradigm. If you are stuck, your awakening is probably right around the corner, and the shock will be great.

Good Science Fiction, or Truth?,
By A Customer
This review is from: Cosmic Voyage: True Evidence of Extraterrestrials Visiting Earth (Paperback)
How does one write a review without sounding too judgemental? I found the book a fascinating read, but I noticed right away that Dr. Brown violated remote viewing protocol by not using a monitor, (an unbiased, unknowing observer). You do not go remote viewing by yourself. What's the difference between that and me dreaming? Maybe I should write a book! Courtney Brown presents plausible information which might not be available by any other other source, but the reader is left wondering how much, if any of this might be true? Where is the proof? In the book, Dr. Brown stated that aliens would announce themselves to the world in a public way in Santa Fe, NM in late 1998. It's 1999 and there's been no announcement so far. We hear so many different versions of the alien invasion story that we can no longer discern what information is valid and which is not. It would be nice if Courtney's information were validated by other remote viewers using scientific protocol, but so far as I'm aware, only a small portion of it has been.

Brave new universe or tabloid charlatinism on overdrive?,

This review is from: Cosmic Voyage: True Evidence of Extraterrestrials Visiting Earth (Paperback)
There is more than ample documentation in the scientific community that the "remote viewing" phenomenon both exists and yields verifiable results. Dr. Courtney Brown provides us a clear and fast moving account of how he has applied the remote viewing method developed by the U.S. millitary in his personal quest to bring humanity to terms with various races of extraterrestirals. Apparently the ETs are quite interested in us, and have been involved in our genetic and cultural affairs for eons. In fact, Adam and Eve were genetic scientists who are still alive, monitoring our progress, and of course biblical accounts of them are merely the outcome of a prehistoric culture trying to interpret the wiles of a more advanced civilization.
Brown paints a vision of an expansive, scientifically-based "new age" cosmology. On one hand, he offers an incredibly optimistic and frightenning view of mankind's destiny, which will have to endure a global environmental collapse, already in its beginning stages. On the other hand, those grocery store tabloids would be hard pressed to come up with such outlandish claims, based on what we're asked to accept as empirical, "reproduceable" psychic observations. The focal point of Brown's writings is to call immediately for bolstering our feeble world government (the U.N.), so that we can extend diplomatic relations to a beleaguered cousin race who settled on Mars and suffered an ancient planetary catastrophe.
In Brown's noble quest to determine the proper way humanity should extend aid to its ailing Martian cousins, and later several factions of "Greys," the powerful entities of Jesus and Budda provide guidance and advice. And yet, if you've read some of the UFO abduction literature, there's much in Cosmic Voyage that ties alleged alien genetic experimentation on humans and the apparently factual accounts of Roswell together into a coherent vision. That's the same basic cosmology underlying the X-Files mythos, now so dominant in Hollywood, and of course, according to Brown, this is no coincidence. ET's have apparently been influencing the writers of Star Trek episodes for some time, in prepping us for eventual membership in the real Galactic Federation. This is a must read for Star Trek fans, and serious enthusiasts of the UFO literature. If you're a fundamentalist Christian,
you'll be convinced the devil is alive and well. If you're scientifically minded, there will be plenty of laughs, and perhaps a few cues to raise your curiosity about what the fringes of science are accomplishing in the areas of remote viewing and expanded human consciousness.

A must read book for those interested in aliens,ufo's,God,..,
This review is from: Cosmic Voyage: True Evidence of Extraterrestrials Visiting Earth (Paperback)
I am very glad that I read this book, for it has completely transformed my life.I always thought of God as some super-natural being whom one had to worship, but ever since I read Dr.Brown's book, I saw God in a totally new perspective. As I carried on reading this book, I felt as if I were assimilating a vast amount of information. You not only read the book, you experience many emotions, establish empathetic links, etc. Once I finished reading this book, I was stunned by my ability to see "energy flows" all around me. A person who hasn't experienced this might think I'm mad or have taken drugs; I can assure that I'm perfectly sane and do not use drugs. I used to have this inexplicable fear of aliens- one does get frightened when one reads( and hears) about all those abduction stories. After reading Dr.Brown's book, I wasn't afraid of aliens any more, for I knew that this "abduction" cannot take place without your consent. It's a pity that there are many people out there who are extremely sceptical and have set prejudiced views. These people very often have never had experiences other people claim to have, and thus to get even, most of them ridicule these people and their experiences. My advice to people intending to read this book is to be open-minded and to see this as a chance to enhance your knowledge about the universe. If you do this properely, you should be able to form numerous empathetic links, at least I hope you do. The expansion/contraction of Buddah's mind is amazing: your mind feels like a thin membrane that's extremely sensitive. Perhaps I'm not describing it properely. The creation of the universe is truly amazing- to me it was like a flower opening up. I also sensed the establishment of linear time, and I guess this flower representation was the closest I could get to understanding creation at that time. Fusion with God is one event that everyone must experience. It is beyond imagination.I would describe it as a zero-infinity experience. You experience lots of emotions, but the most dominant one is love. Love in it's purest, purest form. I thought my whole physical body was ablaze. The energy is ... so powerful, yet so infinitely gentle. During fusion, I just thought of staying there for eternity, but of course that wasn't possible because the author wasn't permitted to fuse with God any longer. During fusion (I was 18 then) I realized how limited I was. My pre-conceived notions were.. well, let's say I was totally wrong. I didn't feel humiliated at all. I knew then that for the rest of my life I would do everything possible to enrich it, not waste any chance that comes my way. I wish I could convey to you what it feels like to know for sure that you are destined to be a winner if you only decide yourself that, yes, I am going to use this chance. One of my other favourite experiences was that with the future Greys. Each Grey was emitting the energy of love, and this got reflected, absorbed, and re-emitted. It was a wonderful feeling to be subjected to this intense constructive energy. If you don't know what I mean then imagine how you feel when you see someone you really, really love ( and I'm not talking about infatuation).Don't you feel happy? Now how do you feel when you're happy and see someone who is also happy? If you don't know how it feels to be in love, don't worry.Just read Joseph Murphy's book: The Power of your Subconscious Mind. This book should be read in conjunction with Dr.Brown's book. If you can't establish empathetic links, don't worry. If you really, really want to become more advanced as a human, then you will succeed in forming links and many other things. I hope you enjoy and learn from this book.

How can a writer write so compellingly, I hesitate to ask? Well, Brown has indeed. This book, a mystical insight in to the world of remote viewing and the two parrallel worlds relating to Earth gave me deep admiration for a writer who, undoubtedly, may worry about whether people may not always take him seriously. If you just want to know more about parrallel worlds, or you feel strongly on these subjects, boy, you'd love this book. 5 stars, and Dr. Brown, you deserve it.
