2.0 out of 5 stars very little new material, April 6, 2007

This review is from: The Cosmology of Man's Possible Evolution (Paperback)
This book is the 'companion volume' to the well-known "Psychology of Man's Possible Evolution". For those who don't know, 'PoMPE' is a nicely-concise version of G's teachings on centres, states of consciousness, self-observation, etc. However, "Cosmology"...

If you own "In Search of the Miraculous" ('Fragments'), then I really see little point in splashing out on this book. There are a *few* extra diagrams in this book (eg. relating to working out the numbers of laws governing orders of worlds) but they are really nothing that will help enlighten you - you could have drawn them yourself by reading Fragments. The text is 99% word for word as it appears in Fragments.

These 6 lectures are as Ouspensky used to read them after his split with G, along with the 'psychological lectures'. One interesting feature: While you will find precisely the same text here as in Fragments, in Fragments it is given as G's words, but in this 'new volume', the speech marks miraculously vanish, and lo! it becomes the Word of Ouspensky!
