I bought this strap for my Canon EOS 60D and it works very well. I changed from a neck strap because I've now a camera backpack with side opening and a neck or shoulder strap is troublesome when using the side opening too often. The product I got have the tripod socket as shown in the picture, but I rather don't use it because the socket isn't big enough to make me fell comfortable when I put it on the tripod head release plate. I'm giving only four stars because this product isn't long enough to be used with the camera battery grip attached, a warning in the product description would be appreciated.

Be advised: If you use your index finger on the shutter like most people it feels awkward to hold and a bit uncomfortable. For my hand I had to loosten the strap so my index finger felt comfy. This is simply a budget hand strap for those looking for a first try at using one.

NOTE: I'm using a Nikon D3000 DSLR

I like the feel of this product, Like some of the other postings. it is tight. but I was hopeing it would work for me,I wish they would provide more lenght in the strap. I will continue to use it and see if it will stretch out. if not then I will use it on my 35mm canon camera.

I use wrist straps for my dSLR cameras. I have never had reason to buy anything more expensive than this item (and its predecessors).

I have used this strap on these Canon camera bodies: 5D Mark II, Digital Rebel T3, Digital Rebel, and Rebel 2000. It works great on all of them. The padding in the pleather grip is full and soft, and the texture on the pleather itself ensures the grip will not slide off my hand.

I cannot recommend this item more.

Strap is well constructed & comfortable, but makes it difficult to push the shutter button with your index finger. Not bad for the price, but I'll probably opt for something else down the road.

THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT FIT CANON 550D / T2i UNLESS MODIFIED.

Just received my Cosmos ® Black Professional Hand Wrist Grip Strap today and must say I am very disappointed. Although a cheap product I at least expected it to be as the product description states.

The Grip strap was easily mounted to the top fastener on my Canon 550d / T2i but when I tried to secure the bottom part of the grip to the tripod mounting on my camera found that a little part of the bracket was in the way of securing the bracket tightly to the tripod mounting of the camera. If I would have tightened the bracket I would have broken it.

The images of the Grip Strap show that there should be a tripod mounting socket on the Grip Strap bracket. The product I received does not have such socket and therefore the seller is not shipping what he is offering, at least not with this product.

I ended up with removing the Grip Strap bracket and securing the Grip Strap directly to the fastener on my camera.

The quality of this product is really poor and I would advise anyone to rather spend some extra for a better product.

In the description for the Grip Strap it states it fits Panasonic, Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Olympus Pentax Dslr + Cosmos Cable Tie. It may be that it fits some Canon cameras but it does not fit Canon 550D /T2i.

I am amazed how this strap has allowed me to feel secure that if i loosen my grip that i will still have a hold of it.

Looks like a nice strap but the tab prevents the view finder from opening no matter how you try to place the bottom plate. So it is not compatible with the new Nikon D5200. Will be returning this.
