My wife bought this as a surprise for our romantic weekend away. Most of the games are not very exciting and they don't tell you ahead of time that you'll need a lot of props. So we couldn't even try half the games on our weekend. The other games are mostly roll playing and questions. This is great if your a young couple who are still getting to know each other in the early stages of a relationsship and what to have some fun. If you've been married for a few years there is not much here unless your totally sexually repressed.

There are 12 different games like truth or dare and sexy scavanger hunt where your partner is blindfolded and you put three different foods of your choice on different parts of your body and he has to find them only using his month. Very fun cards and highly recommended.

My husband and I have been married for almost 6 years and we have a great sex life, but like to throw in something new every once in a while. This game was definitely a great addition! We're even buying it for my sister and her fiance as a wedding gift :O)

What Stephanie Thought: Cosmopolitan is hands-down, my favorite magazine (YES, it even beats out Shape and Marie Claire; they would be runners up, however) which is why I was eager to get my hands on Cosmo's Steamy Sex Games. I will admit, my love for Cosmo is probably directly correlated with my love for sex...but to me, Cosmo is way more than just a sex magazine. It's a health, beauty, self magazine that knows how to make you feel your best and your partner pretty damn good too.

That being said, I am slightly disappointed at how this box of cards doesn't do the magazine justice. Many of the "sexy" suggestions attempt to be flirty and risque, and almost all of them fall flat. Out of the 240 cards, I'd say only about 40 were really original. The rest, I could have easily come up with myself.

Here's an example I laughed at from the Dirty Truth or Dare segment: dare - I'm a sexy stranger at a bar. Pull out your best on-the-prowl tricks and try to pick me up for a one-night stand. First of all, can you say awkward? Can you imagine roleplaying a "sexy stranger in a bar" in your very own bedroom? Would you use make-believe the alcohol too? Let's say you and your partner both really inventive and could imagine the fantasy clearly (something I still can't do with a straight face); too bad it's too creepy of a scenario to continue with.

A lot of the cards in the box are annoyingly repetitive. I came to a card from the Titillating Trivia section I liked a lot: What's the kinkiest thing we've ever done together? Get the answer right - We act out your lusty wish. Get the answer wrong - We act out my lusty wish. I mean, that's really creative and it's a win-win situation. Either way, you get to have fun sex! However, this was the next card in the deck: What's my all-time favorite sex act? Get the answer right - We get to do your favorite act. Get the answer wrong - We get to do my favorite act.I discovered with dismay that there were at least two more cards that went on like this, just with slightly different wording. Who is Cosmo trying to fool? They're all the same thing, just with "sex act" replaced by the words "sex position"!

The book isn't a complete letdown, though. Like I said earlier, there are lots of clever ideas available. In particular, I enjoyed the Kama Sutra section because it has imaginative positions with diagrams and descriptions to guide you along.

I was entertained by this book for a fun night, I'll admit, but I feel I would get sick of it after a first skim of all the cards. This is mostly due to the fact that many of the games aren't even steamy, but also because all the activities are cute, playful ways to get to know your partner. If you're already intimate with your partner (which I am), this one might be sort of a bore.

Radical Rating: 6 hearts- Would recommend to people.

Not at all what we expected. Most of the cards were "not so steamy" and they were things we could have easily thought up on our own. Some require additional props so I would not recommend this game for a honeymoon or weekend away since you won;t have all the necessary items needed.

I got this to put in a Bachelorette gift basket that I made for my best friend, and I wasn't disappointed. It comes in a cute little box that you can easily pull the cards out of. I went through and read some of them, and lets just say, they are very "creative." ;) My best friend had a great laugh over these when she opened the gift. In addition, the box is small enough to fit perfectly in a gift box or gift basket, which is good if you are mailing the gift and don't want something bulky. Plus, the small size means that they can easily take it on their honeymoon. ;)

It is hard to find this type of item and not have it fall short. But these cards are entertaining and fun and made us laugh (on occasion) We are a gay couple so we just had to overlook the sexual orientation of the couples. However, the cards were so good it really did not matter. I would highly recomend them for anyone who is looking for a good old fashioned evening with their partner! Who does not take sex too seriously and wants to have fun!

I had leftover money on a giftcard, so I got this. I expected cheesy tripe and to be disappointed. I was taken aback a bit. This is actually a good game! There are plenty of options, and while we don't love all of them, some are great fun. It's both innocent/sexy and hot and heavy. Highly recommend. Some additional items needed for a good amount of games -- so read through first before you vacation with it.

These can be great card games to play if both you and your partner are open minded and willing to spice up your sex life!

Got this as a joke present for a friend, who wanted to play it as soon as she got it.

Good thing I went through and read it first before we started playing it, because some things in there are fun, some things are kinda fun, some things are kinda lame, and some things are just whack - there's a little bit of everything, but as a whole it doesn't really deliver much imagination, creativity, and spice (what good is a sex game without some raunchy or dirty elements to it?).

This is a fun little diversion if you sometimes get bored, and for a "Hamilton" I guess you shouldn't expect much.

On the construction front, it is very well made.

The box itself is a nifty little preview/drawer gadget, and the cards are nicely laminated, with high-quality photo/artistic backgrounds.
