5.0 out of 5 stars Yes, yes y'allbetter sharpen up your listening skills!, January 18, 2001

This is an album to sit with, cherish, and in the immortal words of Walker Percy, "hand along for good and selfish reasons". David Singer's lyrical offering is a mark and measure of the cruel radiance of what it is to be daring enough to live passionately aware. And lets face it, the shiznit rocks! Run don't walk to pick this one up!

5.0 out of 5 stars Local Chicago Brilliance, December 13, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Cost of Living (Audio CD)
The music played here is virtuoso. The fact that the majority of it was executed by a single musician is beyond belief. The highlight of the cd however is the quality of the lyrics. Better known, more frequently played artists would be proud ot have penned work of this intensitry.
